simplest way is to call the rider and tell them that u will be arriving late due to traffic. give them the estimated time and apologize if they don't mind waiting.

don't mention the word "cancel". the rider will know what to do if they don't want to wait.

yes, Grab pays better. Uber is KL nowadays if average is between RM15-RM20. You will be very happy if can get RM30 per hour. all these after minus uber commision.

to driver, if i not mistaken, anything below 4.3, the driver is about to get banned.

for rider, it is more of a red flag to other drivers to beware of this rider. for me personally, i avoid picking up any riders below 4.5 stars.

since now acceptance rate is no more important, i become picky and if the request is below 4.5, i let the ping drop.

I just got summoned for waiting at Klia road side. Please don't wait and just of risk getting fine. I also found out that the moment u leave the arrival area to do a U-turn at highway, u lost the uber fifo queue.

I was in my car. Still cannot save myself. Whole row of cars kena even with driver.

they give on the spot with picture of the your car. the fine is RM150.

after the summon, i waited at the bus terminal below so that i can cover my losses. fortunately still get a trip back.

the police rode up to my car with a kapchai. parked his kapchai in front of my car to block it. than asked for my license and IC. keyed into his handheld device, snap a picture and pass back the summon with the license and IC. as he pass back, just say this is not a waiting or parking zone, now move out. than he proceeded to the next car.

the police will come in a group of 5 - 6 in different motorbikes. than they will ambush and block the cars with their bikes and summon at one go.

no kopi-o asked. they are out there to summon only....

now my strategy is that when i dropped a rider in KLIA, i will see my FIFO queue. anything more than 20 cars ahead, just drive off and don't camp.

it's better off getting some rides in Putrajaya or Cyberjaya area.

calling the driver or sms him your exact location helps the driver a lot and save tons of time. by the way, u get better rating for doing that too.
