For me I used VDubMod only.Just adjust the video size, audio & video bitrate.But the drawback is the quality is proportional with the bitrate.Lower bitrate = lower qulity.

It depends ler, if the file can't fit into 1 700mb, I will make it fit while lose not much quality as possible

I recompressed the video it work but the audio messed up its slower that the video. How to fix it??

Do you get some kind of warning like this :

'VirtualDubMod has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility..'

If you agree, there is possibility this would happen.

How to fix it (based on my experience).
1. I ignore the warning & didn't rewrite the header - work fine.
2. Same as above but video & audio not matching.The only way to do that set the delay time.Need lot of test & trial to have audio & video synchronized.
3. Extract the audio as *.wav & convert to CBR mp3 (VDubMod not very friendly with VBR audio).Dubbed that CBR audio & disable the VBR audio.

Normally if its in VBR, I will stick to it
If want to focus more on video quality, I will change it to lower bitrate thats all

I've got some RMVB files that have dual audio, with 1 language in the left channel and another in the right
After encoding with my normal programs (WinAVI) both channel gets mixed and i get both voices speaking together

Is there any program that i can use to encode them and keep the audio channels, or at least let me choose which channel/language i'd like to keep?

*.MDS and *.MDF files is created by Alcohol 120%.*I think* you can mount those images using Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools.

i have a problem encounter here, would some one please help? when i using TMPGEnc to convert file from .rmvb to .mpg the picture is clear but there is no sound....Could anyone please help me on this???
