it appeared that the rumor is getting real; 15063.0 is very likely the new 10 rs2 release that we are going to receive in a few weeks.

got the latest esd (it's the same esd found in the wild few days ago; checksums matched) and made a homebrew iso from it



for those who wanna make the bootable dvd iso:
1. download esd-iso conversion tool from https://s1.rg-adguard.net/dl/decrypt/decryp...ulti-release.7z and extract the contents into a working directory, say, c:\esd\
2. download and put the esd that you wanna convert into c:\esd\ (e.g. https://pastebin.com/ZNKmEevc)
3. run administrative command prompt and navigate to c:\esd\
4. type update_keys.cmd to grab new key (if any) from the internet
5. type decrypt-esd.cmd to start conversion.

that's it.

edit: you can use the same iso for a clean install or offline update.

maybe need to expect follow-up updates to resolve bugs. there was one already after a fresh install (now build 15063.11). it didn't solve the settings bug in personalization on start menu. (e.g. cannot turn off 'show app list' and 'show recently added apps'; also cannot hide 'settings on start')

finally. for official rs2 (1703) iso, it's confirmed that it's the same iso file that were distributed for the previous insider preview (15063.0). if you had the iso before, you don't need to download it again.

the media creation tool for w10 has also been updated to download the latest rs2 esds. for the impatient, https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10 (linked from this page, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/40...rs-update-here)

edit: Windows 10 Version 1703 Creators Update, 15063.0.RS2_RELEASE.170317-1834, is now also available vai update assistant.

the first update for Windows 10 Version 1703 released April 5, 2017 - KB4016251 (OS Build 15063.13) can be download at microsoft update catalog, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/40...pdate-kb4016251 (install this if you have the 'settings > start' bug that i reported above; now everything's fine after this patch)

so now both update assistant and media creation tool can download windows 10 creator update ??

If you install windows upgrade assistant, you may trigger the update via that software.
