i updated thru update assistant so far so good but need tweak a bit..

so far i noticed without control panel when i right-clicked the windows logo (can't get used to it)

can always search for it, then right-click and pin to Start or Taskbar

yeah they thought not many people are using it. i just pin it to taskbar until i don't need to access it.

seriously, i don't understand y scheduled optimisation always turned on once i updated huge updates from W10.

i disabled dmwappushsvc! O&O Shutup10 need to run 3 times only successfully disabled the telemetry.

yeah i have that too. to ms it's harmless. (in a way; it's not their pc haha)

a new geforce driver was released just now (i think it's mainly for the recently released titan Xp); will try it out later.

Tried update via windows update assistant, took it 1hr to ready. Restart and then BSOD...dafuk...
Decided to download the iso from windows instead, good old mount iso update like anniversary. Took 10 mins to download now successfully restart and updating...hope this update easier than anniversary...tried update anniversary so many times last year and eventually have to fresh install...

If you upgrade from win 7, and want to reformat your pc.

Just download win10 iso and use my win7 key?

no need, just press "I don't have a product key"

yeah offline upgrades are always better tbh. there are many factors that can lead to bad online upgrades (personally not a fan for this, unless it's linux)

DL the iso and upgrade is faster and safer.

I tried to reset using the built in settings, but it failed few times. In the end, i need to use the bootable usb to do a clean installation. No hussle after that but I get the new creator's update with the bootable iso.

i always update latest driver. WDDM 2.2 & creators update for 381.65

yeah running in game mode. not quite sure how it affects me so i just let it run for a bit.

i am going to do clean installs for the rest of my machines running w10 during next few weekends.

i also plan to clean install when i'm free.

Yeah, for the reasons you mentioned, normally patch Tuesday arrives in Malaysia on the following Wednesday.. so, it's better to check Wed morning..

However, rollout is staggered so not everyone gonna get it via Windows Update on day 1.. those with newer hardware like Surface Pro 4 have the best hope..
