end of the day, sit back, enjoy the colors n mobie rather than counting how many pixels the movie is playing

but heck, according to so many, 4k content damn wow, maybe my teebee really doesnt play 4k ?

Your TV is Full HD and not support of HDR, means Netflix will let you watch up to Full HD and no HDR even if your subscription is up to 4K resolution.

You can always know from above the description (below the title). If your device is capable then you will see it appear Ultra HD 4K if the title resolution up to 4K. You will see HDR If the title up to HDR (HDR will be normally in 4K). The HDR will change to label of Vision if your TV support Dolby Vision HDR format. You seen HD if the title up to 1080p. No mentioned if the title is SD (480p or below).

if base one what andrew said, then all these while i have been watching 4k and hdr, because thats what it was being shown below the title everytime

not very impressive to me though

Using the Netflix app from the TV itself ? Check your Netflix account settings, see it is set to play at Max resolution. Also if you have a standard Samsung remote control, try pressing the info button.

Hmm, no offense but you sure your TV set isn't the K5500 as I can't find the KU5500 model even on Samsung's website. Plus there's no way the Samsung series 5 TVs will have HDR and even if it claims to be UHD..it'd be pseudo at best. Just saying, as proper UHD+HDR is definitely stunning.

Log into your Netflix account using a browser and change the settings.

You can buy the standard compatible remote for less than 50/- ( but make sure your model is stated in the list of supported models).

But first try to borrow one. While playing Netflix video, press the info button on the remote. It will show the details, speed, resolution etc.

You sure? So far all my device (TV, TV Box, Ultra-HD Blu-ray player, PC, mobile, and tablet) report correctly and it is impossible you can see in 4K if your TV is not 4K.

Also I can't find KU5500 TV but only K5500 TV which is Full HD only.

Beside this internet line also very important else they will drop to as low as it can the resolution.

Not every info button give resolution and speed information. My Panasonic TV yes, Panasonic Ultra-HD Blu-ray player no and Mi Box also no.

I know, some Samsung TV model also show nothing when click the info button.

Are you using Samsung? I specially bought the remote for my Samsung to show Netflix info.That's why I say better borrow and try first.

To see the stream speed that u r getting when using Netflix do the following in the small remote.

Simply press "123" button in the remote, a menu with numbers will pop up. Go to the left and hit the "i" option on the screen.

Can lah..

Ye deserve to be flamed..

Last time I read one. Certain model cannot and certain model street upgrade became cannot show. Haha
