QUOTE(blacktubi @ Oct 28 2016, 03:11 AM) Great new laptop apart from the lack of the conventional USB port. That's the future but it's not great when you have to carry an adapter around. ok la. just one small adapter to bring along. it is actually better than 12-inch that only comes with one usb-c port. at least this one comes with 4. best part is any of the 4 ports can be used for charging, display, usb-c, thunderport. |

USB-C to USB-A USB-C to HDMI and VGA USB-C to Ethernet USB-C to SD USB-C to Mini DisplayPort Big inconvenience and I actually use the SD card slot quite often. I wish there will be an updated Air with retina display and new CPUs. Oh well, one can only hope. |

QUOTE(Boykidz93 @ Oct 28 2016, 03:22 AM) +1 So you play without charging? when 12 inch mac book out, a lot of negatives comments towards the USB-C. The irony when you can't even connect your iPhone to your Mac now. Well, it's the future and Apple just want to be the first one who adopts it. I wish the next iPhone is USB-C too. |

Hahaha, yeah, and for me (my opinion only), I dont see the reason why a mac user are using mouse. I am mass comm student, doing video editing, photo editing and etc throughout my almost 5 years journey never use mouse for the work, even the lecturer (window user) were impressed. The mac trackpad is working so great with all the multitasking gesture But, I do advise my friend whom shift from window to mac dont waste money to buy mouse, BUT fail. They are not familiar with all the "multi-task" gesture so they always use mac with mouse This post has been edited by Boykidz93: Oct 28 2016, 03:33 AM |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Oct 28 2016, 03:27 AM) The list of adapters I need now: no way that the MacBook aid will have retina display. It will retire eventually with the 13-inch MacBook pro without retina.USB-C to USB-A USB-C to HDMI and VGA USB-C to Ethernet USB-C to SD USB-C to Mini DisplayPort Big inconvenience and I actually use the SD card slot quite often. I wish there will be an updated Air with retina display and new CPUs. Oh well, one can only hope. I think apple just keep this MacBook air for the low end market now, It is obvious that Mac lineup now are 1) 12-inch 2) 13-inch with normal keyboard 3) 13-inch with touchbar 4) 15-inch with touchbar This post has been edited by westlife: Oct 28 2016, 03:42 AM |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Oct 28 2016, 03:31 AM) So you play without charging? Get this adapter from Apple Store, will enough you to do almost 90% of task It's a Pro grade hardware and people actually use it to do actual work. The irony when you can't even connect your iPhone to your Mac now. Well, it's the future and Apple just want to be the first one who adopts it. I wish the next iPhone is USB-C too. I bought this due to I always use my 12 inch MacBook for college presentation, but then seem it could do more than it should... USB port, USB-C port and the VGA connector in 1 adapter. |

what I am surprised about is that apple is still selling the March 2015 retina MacBook pro and they even increase the price of it.
