How much the battery cost if send for repair at Apple Authorised Centre? Mine is 310 Cycles, the battery shown "normal" status. Just in case, I can standby $$ for replacement later  sweat.gif

Depending on model, between 400++ to 800++ at apple centers.

QUOTE(piscesguy @ Oct 26 2016, 03:41 PM)
I think to preserve the battery life is always charge when battery < 10%.

Always disconnect the MacBook from power socket when reach battery=100%.

U can bring to machines KLCC or mid valley...the replacement price should be around RM 500. hmm.gif
*
< 10%, you are trying to murder your battery.

I would say try to juice it back up if you are anywhere near 50% if possible.

QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ Oct 26 2016, 03:44 PM)
Rm500
should I do at third party?
*
Third party batteries are cheap. But the problem with 3rd party is that there is high chances of it bulging after a year or two of use as well. So, there is some risks there.

Worst if the bulging starts to screw with your track pad and also your bottom case. Not fun.

Too expensive! your'e definitely going to have to get USB C -> USB A adapter... iPhone ppl gonna get USB C -> Lightning cable... + Apple care...

IT can cost up to RM 14,027 for one High end MacBook Pro 15

I'll probably wait for Dell/Lenovo/Asus/Acer touch bar... biggrin.gif or wait for Najib to bring our RM back...

Great new laptop apart from the lack of the conventional USB port. That's the future but it's not great when you have to carry an adapter around. sad.gif
