hi guys, I'm using a macbook pro 13 retina display(late 2012).
Seems like my safari can't stream 1440p 60fps youtube videos, it is not even an option in safari to click on. However when i use chrome, the option appears but theres severe stuttering and its not watchable.
May i know if anyone has the same problem ?
Sample video
Playing the YouTube video on Safari does hide the 1440p option. Had to played the video through Chrome on my RMBP15" in order to play it at 1440p. Watchable and no shuttering issues.
This is a genuine problem for time machine. Time capsule has the same issue also. Ended up I gave up backing up my Mac completely. Those essential files, I'll save in my cloud drives.
I gave up backing up my Mac 3 years ago because of the problem of transferring backup data from one external HD to another and I couldn't be bothered to use the Time Capsule. Hence, I've decided to make use of the iCloud facilities to store all my Apple backups and have been doing so ever since
Bros, whats the advantage of using Chrome against Safari? I have always thought about it but have never used Chrome. Is there some advantage that I should know about? Thanks
If you're always on the go and battery life is a much more important consideration, stay away from Chrome and use Safari instead
Chrome is compatible with certain websites where Safari has some problems. For example if you have been on Malaysia Airlines website, if you check in online with Safari, you cannot download the boarding pass. Chrome is ok. However making online booking and others are ok. However in general, majority of sites no problem with Safari. So I only use chrome when Safari has problems.
It can be really annoying when it hangs especially
