Pro 2016 users - Consumer reports giving a thumbs down on the new Pros due to poor battery life.

How do you all find batt life on day to day use - about 10 hours as claimed or only 5 hours or so as the report says

Would like to hear some real time user input

I wonder why i keep getting this message "Your payment authorization failed. Please verify your information and try again, or try another payment method." Already called up the bank and they say no issue on my debit card, purchase limit is ok/oversea flag is ok etc etc ==

around 5 to 6hours only.
13" with touch bar, 512gb ssd, 16gb ram.
only used it to watch drama with vlc, on and off internet browsing.
updated to latest mac os.

i guess apple will do something on it in near future as the complaints are getting serious.

*editted, forgot to add that 50% brightness 50% sound volume.

u should try call Apple and ask them. if no issue with the bank then it should be ok.

Not great for what seems like light usage.

This battery issue should not be there. Hope there's a fix.

i just read some taiwan forum, some users off their siri function seems to have better battery performance.

Just got the 2016 15" TB MBP, my first Mac OS 😍. Where can I get the speck case or any protective hard case here in KL? The no-illuminating Logo seems a scratch magnet now like those on the iPhone n pads

Was it a Maybank credit/debit card? Their system was down yesterday.

Hard cases can be found via the usual resellers such as Machines,etc..etc..

If you found one that you like, you might find them priced cheaper at the Lowyat Garage sales or on Lazada, 11Street, etc..etc..

I've ask Machines when I purchased from them and called up MacCity as well, unfortunately they haven't get their hands on the latest cases, as in for the 2016 TB ones

Don't bother. I did a search also... not available yet. Only the sleeves are available and it's because it fits the the same as older mbp.

Is your billing address accurate? if doesn't match may create issues.

Is your shipping address different from billing address? Also can create issues.

gg new tMBP looked damn nice, but my 2012 rMBP and wallet say no

new macbook pro damn nice, the only issue is the connectivity. maybe should wait for 1-2 years for every accessories comes with USB-C.

but whats gonna happen to TYPE-A if most of the new stuff comes with TYPE-C

Some of the flash drive on sale now, think the dual headed USBc + USBa works for now

Don't think it's about affordability. Rather the case of if it's worthwhile and necessary.

Type A will still stick around for sometimes and eventually phase out. But that's another 5-7 yrs estimation. All depends on how much and how fast the price will come down.
