Lol... taiwan brand has the worst after sales.... dell n illegear top aftersales in Malaysia... u wan buy predator 17 ? Come i sell u aw17 gtx 980m same price...

go check my garage sales la.. i get some clearance stock from bmstar, 1 of the alienware exclusive partner...

but for ur usage i think xps 15 enuf de... juz buy a deep cool fan.. wan go extreme only choose alienware.. different class

extreme class :alienware, razer blaze, illegear (their professional quality impress me, main downside is OEM brand so not much resell value)

normal recommended class : asus ROG, MSI , acer nitro V, inspiron 7559 (very few units left in the market, next shipment arrive 1st week march, i5 dos mlink no more stock)

I thought they were one of the honest seller in lowyat. Dell and illegear has the best aftersales service in malaysia. ACER is no where near them.

or they dun hv stock to sell.. becoz alienware delivery got lead time 1

juz take it as they dun hv physical stock to sell.. very common in alienware.. coz they order 1 time take 2-3 weeks to delivery..

now i hv 10 more unit alienware wif accidental dmg want o clear off.. haha

3. Usage: Collage use, Movies ( No gaming, Since I have a okay RIG )
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13 - 14Inch
5. Best that it have SSD, 4 or 8GB of ram its' k. I'll be open and close it all the time.
6. Not that heavy to be carry around.
7. Battery that can last 5 Hours above

Thought of going for acer vnitro but now you mention the aftersales. how about msi ge62 6qc? Are the thermals good? ge series all use same display?

Taiwan brand generally fail in aftersales in Malaysia

U should consider those workstation laptop, not gaming laptop with gtx gpu
