I saw someone mention a Lenovo that fits your budget few days/week ago. Dont remember model.
But i was surprised by its value, it has i5, SSD and maybe GPU and FHD.
Getting an SSD inside is soo sweet, just use a usb external hdd for your movies

Guys, my laptop Inspiron 14R 5437 just got stolen from my hostel yesterday morning. Pfft lah.

So I need some recommendation for my new one. I have a very tight tight budget.

1. Preferred Brand: Dell, Asus or HP. Lenovo ? Boleh lah.
2. Budget: RM2.5k max but I still can korek korek.
3. Usage: Doing my assignment mostly, web surfing, watching movies, downloads, playing games such as FIFA16 and CS:GO.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14" just nice but I also okeyy with 15"
5. GPU : Nvidia.

Ya, it is a good one. But note that the RM3.4k one is DOS which you have to install all the drivers and OS yourself ya. And usually those DOS laptops are more reliable than the ones that come with OS.

The processor M-5Y71 is slightly better than the M-5Y10. I doubt 128GB storage is enough for you. Get the 256GB one if you don't have any external HDD lying around. Go for the 8GB one if possible, 4GB is not gonna be enough for Windows 10 imho.

My sister bought it from ICT Mall in Penang wor. But you can go Brightstar in Lowyat. Trusted one.

I'm gonna try to prioritize the specs that i'm currently looking for.

1.Higher priority : Sturdy and not flimsy (Similar to something like a macbook pro & not so plastic), good battery life.
2.Medium priority : Preferably a 14 to 15 inch screen, not so demanding graphics card (just light gaming (dota2) and programming).
3. Low priority : Any brand preferred, weight not an issue.

Budget would be around 2.5 ~ 3k.
