Please recommend a suitable laptop. Thanks.
I'm a very light user if not for the fact that I'm running speech recognition. So, I need fast and strong processing power. Basically, gaming laptop specs without the graphic card.

1. Preferred Brand: -
2. Budget: 3-4k. Can stretch budget if fulfill requirement
3. Usage: Browsing. Speech recognition
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : Any, but prefer keyboard with no numpad so more spacing to type (optional)

6. Specs:

- CPU - i7 quad core. Can take older gen. L3 cache (min 6mb, prefer 8mb) since 6700HQ only 6mb.
- RAM - min 8GB or more.
- HD - Prefer SSD but optional
- Graphics Card - I don't game. No impact.

Not sure if I missed out anything. Any good promotions going on? Planning to buy it by this week or early next.

How does the intel-M compared to the i5?

leaning more towards the Asus as it fits my budget better. I can't seem to find the official pricing in Malaysia for the Asus. No pricing on the official site.

its pretty hard to get the mobile processor with 6MB L3 cache above at casual laptop mobile, however, it does assist,

6. prefer to have SSD and atleast GTX960m GC and better cooling system as the laptop will be use in long hours per day.

Come July, my Toshiba Satellite would have served me 11 years. Other than broken hinge and a keyboard replacement, this has been a good workhorse. I'm looking for a new system and wants something fairly reliable.

Clevo (sold here as an Illegear/Aftershock) PC. 

No bloatware, great customer service, extremely easy to service (they even have a service manual for their machines), and they are very well built. 

Yeah, that's why I put 6mb min there. Cause I know I probably won't be able to find 8MB cache processor with ~4k budget.
I'm still looking for options, and now leaning towards just getting a gaming laptop and add on RAM to be done with it.

Workstation looks nice but I won't be able to afford the 6k price tag.
