Tefal, works well for my pan, but not for my housemate because they put too much heat on it, the coating spoiled even they bought it 2 years later than mine

Tefal. Use lowest flame level to protek non-stick coating.
Don't scrub even with the semi-hard green pad.
Use soft sponge to clean.
If got some leftovers sticking onto it, just soak in water overnight before washing.

Agreed. need super careful. i once saw a demo on property fair. a guy demo a wok. non stick type. but he can use rough sponge or steel type to wash..

still finding what brand is that.

In my opinion, these guy did not intent to keep the wok for long term use and it wasn't his wok as well, so he can simply abuse them.

Those tefal wok also can withstand those rough sponge scratch and it is still non-stick, but it will not last, so by the time it's starting to stick, the salesman just change another new wok will do sweat.gif

if i not mistaken, ceramic pan is using non-stick coat

"ceramic" is just the advance version of non-stick coat.

but both tefal and ceramic are under the same category of using non-stick coat ... and yes, both coat also will wear off one day.

i own tefal, bought it on 2009 the coating still good, did not peel off.

sometimes i fried fish, chikin, do spagetthi, do olio oglio, fried karipap, fried keropok.

the tips is to use black plastik sudip so that would not kikis the coating.

i oso own asd also, but rarely use so i gip to my mom.

QUOTE
The main argument for ceramic cookware is that it’s toxin free and environmentally friendly. The main argument for PTFE cookware is that currently it can be somewhat more durable than ceramic in some cases.

Ceramic coated cookware have a shorter life span than PTFE coated cookware (tefal)

But they argue ceramic coated is more safe.

If you want a cookware that can last very long, go look for something else.

Lol who say cannot fry fish...that kuali can fry everything liao. All you need to do is to make sure the pan is hot, the oil is hot enough so it will sear the fish before the fish touches the pan. Simple
