"ceramic" is just the advance version of non-stick coat.

but both tefal and ceramic are under the same category of using non-stick coat ... and yes, both coat also will wear off one day.

Ceramic coated cookware have a shorter life span than PTFE coated cookware (tefal)

But they argue ceramic coated is more safe.
