From where this info being mentioned? II am not able to find the T&Cs of VS in PBB webpage.

Don't think so as I was given the waiver and I've been a long time customer of PBB.

Yes it was auto-approved in parallel to the VI card. I wanted to cancel it coz I read in the website about the annual fees and the RM100K spending criteria per annum from 2nd year onwards. Made a call to customer service and clarified that its free for life as long as the WMC is approved during the promo period
from 25 Feb 2016 until 30 June 2016.

That is correct. VI only applied for but dapat WMC as well. WMC is free for life without conditions as its approved during promo period as mentioned above.

VI on its own is free for life without conditions at all times.

Didn't you see some doubt here...
Only eligible card members entitled to lifetime annual fee waiver, but the eligibility is excluded all other PB credit card members who are not holding PB WMC...
Means the one that eligible for lifetime annual fee waiver is the one that doesn't hold any other PB credit/debit card members...

Ok, I get it now. Didnt read thru the exclusions list throughly. The key point is 3a. I was not an existing holder of any PBB cards. Maybe thats why I got the WMC with an un-conditional annual fee waiver for as long as I maintain the card. This is one of the ridiculous rules of PBB in offering their new stuff just like the requirement for "fresh funds" for special promo FD rates.

I didnt apply for the WMC, and wasn't even aware that it was one of the credit card products at PBB. If its free then just keep it as a spare back-up.

Then why are they talking abt these cards in PBB VS thread in the last two pages?

I'm thinking to switch my insurance payment to this card from Mbb 2 cards (visa). Do we get VIP points for insurance payment? I checked the t&c, it didn't mention insurance as exclusion from VIP points. Thx.

If u can pay your insurance online (like AIA.com.my or thru M2U, Payonline), then u can even earn 6% CB, better than VIP points.
