When u saw the saver Zurich tickets, when was the flying date?

Based on your experience, what would be the route that may be ‘easier’ to get 2 saver tickets for new suite?

Thanks man
*
Can't rmb the date, it was few months ago.
Easiest route - Mumbai
Fly while last, new suite will remove from Mumbai somewhere mid of next year.

I think think n calculate
just get free economy tickets, then bring the whole family all travel to those 5 to 6 hours country, rather than just 2 biz class ticket
*
Well, that's your choice, no right or wrong.
Personally I think you shall try flying First at least once in a lifetime, if u can afford.

How to check booking class for Emirates?
Sore my eyes checking every corner but can't find the booking class...
Nevertheless, credited to my Emirates acc, slowly build up my miles.

Yes, that loophole is 25k return. Now 25k for one way
*
To be fair, 50k is still a good value for return Japan.

Not really.
I will say both pros and cons.
Those frequent user (who redeem always) usually have no problem with expiry miles.
However, those travel infrequently, for my case - my mum, will travel on CX once or twice a year, occasionally on my or my dad miles redemption.
With 3 yrs validity, it is sufficient to redeem short distance flight for myself (yes, me not her tongue.gif)
She has no CC (supp) to earn miles, solely by flying.
18 mths is a bit short, let's say 1 year without travel / fly on my redemption ticket / fly with other SA airlines, her miles will be nearly expired.
Of course for the bright side, her miles will never expired if she keep flying CX / earning AM and sufficient to redeem long haul ticket for herself.

Miles will never expire if there is any transactions at all, you could just transfer 1000 asiamiles into your account to keep it alive every 18 months, or choose to donate a minimum amount.
*
Yup, for those who can transfer from CC, with proper monitoring, it is a gain.
As mentioned above, those without CC (supp card holder), will be having difficulties.
What is the minimum amount for buying miles? Hundreds?
I don't think it is worth it.
Nevertheless, the easiest way found should be from rebatemango.

How was your Asia miles experience??Seems that flight availability is even worse than sq.all need waitlist,is that the case?
*
All depends on travel destination and timing...
When more people into miles game (worldwide), there will be less seat availability

Cool.you are quite flexible.for me personally,I never wait list although if cleared I don't necessarily need to accept, but I always prefer arrange in advance.

How about Cathay waitlist ?As most hot destination under waitlist, easy to clear compared to sq?
*
No intention to fly for this one, CNY coming soon, just play with new route and learn how's the waitlist works.
Nevertheless, made a few waitlist and hopefully can clear for the date I wanted.

Never try Cathay waitlist before.
So happened got the dates I wanted previously.

Next one I shall know in a week or two.
One more in Feb and then April.
Not many waitlist for 2x new Suite.

Either pre-selected HK or Tw site.
Can't find where to change location from phone.
Nevertheless, digidigi has confirmed that MBB is possible.
Thanks.

See this guide.
https://milelion.com/2019/09/16/the-milelio...rlines-flights/

Think the general rule is that it's not worthwhile to pay for an economy ticket and upgrade with miles.
It's more worth it to directly redeem a business / first class ticket.
*
Of course, but while flying under company expenses, not every company can allow you doing so.
When no choice, buy economy under company expenses and upgrade with own miles, without company aware of it.

Arrive using horse carriage but sleep in chicken barn? Too extreme don't you think?
*
Your description is quite accurate.
I will be doing so very soon, but in reverse.
Still not decided where to overnight.
There is no nice sleeping sofa in First Class lounge.

Tried once sleeping in PPL, sofa + ottoman, not bad.
Flight arrived 3 or 4am, ok for 2 hours sleep.
Quite hesitate for whole night.
Maybe end up in aerotel.

Perhaps what I am meant is what's the second best card that I should consider after M2P.  Hahaha... Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated
*
No 2nd option, which is quite sad actually.
At least Ambank and HSBC can rivaled MBB previously, but it is now left unchallenged.
Just maximize your spending with M2P.
Find and spend as much as possible with Amex instead of Visa.
Full force spend on MUVI and pray hard they win the match (and curse like hell when they lost tongue.gif)

Unlike our neighbour Sg, they now have plenty options offering 4mpd (ok, 4 miles per RM3, which is much better than our Amex!).
Look forward for SC or UOB to stand up and challenge M2P.

SG cards can even get up to 10 mpd are limited to certain spending categories, cap at certain limit and when want to redeem to miles have to pay a fee. Kinda complicated to track spending
*
I do agree, but generally it is much easy to earn miles in Sg than Msia.
Luckily we still have one of the best card (not so best anymore) in the world tongue.gif
Basically not many people will concern about paying fee while redeeming miles (for miles chaser).
However, it is just the matter of time we need to start paying AF for better miles card.
