Sharp 4K Android TV LC50UE630X

Preinstalled Netflix couldn't be opened unless a latest software version is updated!!!
However, when the Netflix is going to update, a pop up window says that it cannot access the network/ it cannot access the download site...
*My network and Wifi is running well on other apps like Youtube on Android TV
I have tried to download the apk files online on my hard-disk and tried to plug in the hard-disk and installed the latest apk Netflix files on the
Android TV but nothing happen and it still need to update. Hopefully someone could help me out

I am a new guy in this forums and very happy for finding a place where seems can give me advice for my Sharp 50UE630X. I got a problem about ATV+DTV tuning: the UE630X can identify 75 channels (55 ATV and 20 DTV) only while the others (SA5500X for example) can identify 64 DTV channels (both use the same cab service supplier). I don’t care about ATV channels because the PQ is not good, but only 20 DTV channels which missing many important ones (HBO, Cinemax, Foxmovies ...) is big problem. I’v checked the TV’s specs of the UE630X and the new one UA6800, they are the same.  I appreciate if someone can consult me for this situation! Thanks

Yes, ATV means Analogue TV and DTV means Digital TV and local DTV does offer HBO, Cinemax and Foxmovies, I can watch these on the SA5500 but can’t find them on the UE630X.

I am from Vietnam (Hanoi) and Hanoicab is the supplier (price is about $5.00/month for a pack of channels where HBO, CINEMAX and FOXMOVIES are among these).

Did anyone face this issue with your UE630X TV? My Youtube app is not working properly, when it plays the video, it display horizontal lines and unable to view the video. You can hear the audio but image is horizontal line. When you stop the video, Youtube app exited and says got problem. This started about 2 weeks ago.

Hi, I'm facing the same issue on YouTube like you. Tried uninstall but the only option I have is downgrade. Trying that also no difference.

For those that having issue with Youtube app on UE630X pls make sure using previous version 2.10.15. Can google for it apk.

Make sure turn off auto update at play google.

Anyone face the issue where the TV is stuck in a loop during startup? Can't seem to get it to hard reset as well

Sharp is so lazy to update, luckily netflix and disney hotstar is working but for disney hotstar a little fast movie is a bit judder

Pic 1 suddenly seem another layer or border on the right
Pic 2 sometime screen become purple or green
Pic 3 watch movie with purple screen only but voice is out,and at right border still there

BTW just to share. For the above issues i share, luckily during the home expo I bought the extended warranty.

After an email sent to ESH representatives along with pictures and video of the issue, the insurance company approved the claim…

My LC-UE630x YouTube stopped working about 2 weeks ago.
Then I used mobile phone to cast. Today it has stopped working.

Luckily still can cast using laptop.

I'm think it is because of Android version 6? Needs to update the Android version?

I've just realised that my RSS player also cannot use even when I side loaded version 1.2.3 and 1.2.1

Hi I know this is an old thread but anyone able to update their old tv? My model is the LC-UE630X and when I open Netflix, it says I need to update but when I do I couldn’t update it. It’s an old old firmware version from 30800_20170216 to 31200_20180207. Couldn’t find the firmware download cause wanna try using USB. The internet download just won’t go through via the TV.

I can’t go through with the update via internet. Internet on tv was working fine as I am able to play videos on YouTube. Where can I download the version build manually so I can use USB to update? It’s not available on Sharp’s website.
