Usually, in Playstore 'Open/Update, Full Description etc'.
But this, 'Install'.
That's mean it was uninstalled.
I believe my kids(2yo & 4yo) can't do that.

hi all...my sharp lc50ue630x unable to proceed with the software update. The software update does appear on my homescreen however when i click on the update it goes to the update screen then error message pops up saying "Update failed". Does this mean i can't OTA update and will need to manually update via USB? Any link where i can download the latest software update.   

I have problem to play all UHD movies on Netflix.
No issue on other device(Galaxy S7 and Mibox(MDZ-16-AB).

I have consult with Netflix support, couldn't help.
I was told maybe it's due to DNS.

How to reset?
I checked DNS was not set on my router.

How do you set your Astro OTG orientation?

Installed already, what setting do you use for per app and global. Been playing around with the settings but still astro OTG doesn't rotate the correct way

i dont know how, the login screen and the astro OTG menu orientation are off, but when i played a video the orientation become correct.
then go back to the main Astro OTG screen, the orientation also become correct. gila. but its works now.

There are some clearance models like the Sony 7000 series going for RM3.3k 65in but no andriod tv.. the 630x still goes for RM5k+

For those using astrogo to watch live match on ue630x, did anyone experience the picture quality to drop after few minutes of watching whereby the image intend to get very blurry. Have to keep on row back to the sport main page and start again. Tried on q5 pro also having the same problem. Other channels and VOD are still ok.

Only ipad can retain the image quality or will restore from the drop of image quality. 

Currently on 30mb unifi and No problem with Netflix, kodi, and even UnifiPlay. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

Anyone having problem watching Youtube live video? Example when i watch Bernama Live or TV3 live.
The feed got distorted and only appeared on the top half of the screen.  Is there any setting to tweak to watch?
No such problem when watching normal youtube video.

It was like that before i update youtube.  So i thought my youtube version outdated but after latest update 3 days ago, no changes.
Hmmm, i am using time broadband 100MB package. No problem watching 4K video.  If i reset android, what else would be affected? settings become default? factory setting?

I'm currently having an issue with my Sharp UE630X - 50". It just won't play .srt files from the usb drive unless I combine the sub file with the video file. Tried vlc,mx player and archos player but still failed. It was working fine earlier then had a motherboard change by Sharp technician since my tv unable to auto-update to latest android version which stops me from watching Netflix as it requires me to update my android version first. I'm also having an issue to install apps other than google playstore now..have turned off the security to allow installation from other than google playstore but still the "INSTALL" button is greyed out when trying to install 3rd party apps.       

i received my lc60ua6800x today... been playing with it for hours!

it's rather easy for me to set up everything and test all that i want to since i have used the predecessor lc50ue630x for 2.5 years now.

the tv is used together with himedia q10pro android box, denon avr, unifi tv stb and unifi 100mbps wifi.

below some of my initial findings and comments:-

.. 60" is significantly larger than 50"! well, that's how i felt on the first day.
my eyes are still getting used to it sitting at 10-12ft sway.
.. the remote is a 2-in-1 (with voice search) compared to the previous model which has 2 remotes.
i find the buttons too close to each other.... problem with mis-pressing with my fat fingers.
.. the UI is good, better than the last one, quicker in accessing controls, settings, etc.
.. the native usb player has improved in that it can now read ntfs, 2TB hdd; but... it can only do aac and dolby audio.
can't do dts or other higher - u just get video, no audio. this is not a problem for me as i dun use the tv for hdd playback.
.. use of airmouse or wireless mouse is fine, no problem.
.. sideloaded apps on androidtv (android 7.0) work fine - astrogo and a couple more for news, int'l live tv channels... for casual viewing.
(i do not want to put too many as i prefer to use my android box for others like kodi and acestream.)
.. youtube works good, plays 1080p, 4k with ease. (not using netflix... no comments.)
.. tv audio is surprisingly not bad... maybe due to this "eilex prism" feature.
.. optical arc is fine, all tv audio whether from tv usb player, androidtv apps or other player will work with arc - dolby digital works if applicable.
.. the wifi module is good, works on 5ghz just like its predecessor.

.. using my box for local playback, HDR works fine. if the file u play is HDR, "HDR" will be displayed when u press the display button on the remote.
.. i tried a variety of files and no surprise the 2160p hdr10 files come out the best followed by full 1080p ones.
.. HDR10 videos surely have deeper and brighter colors.
.. this tv is definitely brighter than its predecessor - even the default settings on the modes - std, movie, dynamic, etc. are quite bright.
unless u activate OPC which will get too dim.
.. i like standard mode most but may use an adjusted dynamic mode for some HDR videos.

overall, i m satisfied with it - it does what i expected it to do.

from desa home theater.. for rm3.5k, 5 year warranty, free delivery+installation, 1-for-1 exchange within 7 days if faulty.. i can't and won't ask for more!
