QUOTE(sam240 @ Feb 13 2017, 01:10 PM) I'm looking to replace my Hotlink Tablet which no longer has 365 days validity, but data still have (RM45 - 2GB for 365 days). If you've already paid the RM45 for your Hotlink Tablet and the 2GB is going to be valid for another year, and you only need that much data for the period, can consider paying the other RM33 to get Validity 365 instead. So for the Digi Prepaid Best 2016 v2 come with 500MB monthly auto reset and only buy 365 days validity for RM68 once. In other words, only pay for RM68 then can enjoy free 500MB DATA every monthy, am I right? How do I verify that simcard is Prepaid Best 2016 v2? A friend bought a Digi Best card last week and it's stated Digi Prepaid Best 2016, that's the latest plan. Note that the speed on the free basic internet is only 64kbps. I've tried using my own Digi to launch Grab Taxi with this basic internet, until I finally decided to pay RM1 for the daily 300MB fast internet instead. |

QUOTE(alicia-l @ Feb 19 2017, 08:26 PM) May I know how the data work in onexox seasonal pass. season passIs it something like hotlink tablet plan? Been thinking to replace my tablet plan since not worthy anymore. Let's say you buy the Happy Hour Season Pass 3GB RM30. You'll get 3GB credited to your Season Pass "wallet" and have RM30 deducted from your credit balance. You want to use data today, say the 500MB - 30 days - http://www.onexox.my/pelan-internet-mudah-alih.html - Send SMS code 1XD500 to subscribe / via *150# menu - 500MB will be deducted from your 3GB Season Pass "wallet" - Nothing will be deducted from your credit balance - no need to pay (again) - Your data will be available for 30 days, then cut off automatically - Any balance of the 500MB will be forfeited *the 3GB season pass is valid up to 28 months if not activated, if 500MB activated every month, it ccan last up to 6 months *current promo: topup rm30/more will get free 500MB per calender month for 5 years (total 30GB) |

QUOTE(alicia-l @ Feb 19 2017, 08:26 PM) May I know how the data work in onexox seasonal pass. Being a user of both, I'd say the main difference is that you'll have to subscribe to a data plan in order to "withdraw" from Season Pass when you want to surf. Whereas with Hotlink Tablet, you just need to slot the SIM card and surf away. Is it something like hotlink tablet plan? Been thinking to replace my tablet plan since not worthy anymore. Therefore with Hotlink Tablet, you just use up whatever you actually utilize but with OneXOX, the remaining of the data plan you subscribe to cannot be carried forward. For example, you pick a 500MB monthly plan. This 500MB will be gone after that month, even if you actually use less than that (like say 200MB) - cannot be carried forward, once withdrawn, it's "gone" after that month. But ya, the Hotlink Tablet plan is really |

I have been using buzzme for some months now. So far, I am happy with their service.
If anyone need long validity for both calls/sms and data and dont need to use data often, I would certainly recommend buzzme. Currently, for rm50 you can get 1 year validity, 700mb high speed data, and about rm7 of credit to use. How to if anybody interested, topup rm50 and get free 500mb data>subscribe one year validity for rm38>subscribe 200mb data to extend data validity to one year for rm5. However be aware that the vallidity period cannot be stacked. This is stated in their t&c QUOTE Every time you reload, your SIM Card will compare the remaining validity period of your existing airtime credit with the validity period of your new reload. The higher of the two validity periods will be effective.) |

Just to sharing. Im using #hotlink with monthly free 500mb basic internet (64kbps). What im usually does is when going to expiry, i will do a talk time transfer (rm 10) which cost 50 sen / transaction, and it will be entend another 4 days. If calculate without call, first reload RM 50 (with lazada via CC such as CIMB will get 5% CB or Citibank with 15% CB), im using Citibank, so i pay only 42.50 and get 50. 365day - 50=315days. 315/4=79 transactions and 50 sen for a transaction = around RM40 for a year to enjoy full year basic internet. Hope it help.

I don't get how it's possible to use RM40 for a year to enjoy full year basic Internet.79 transactions = *RM9.50 X 79 = RM750.50 *every topup is RM9.50 ( RM10 - 50sen) May I know how is possible to use only RM40? Would really like to know & utilize your method. Thanks!. |
