No more xox...only onexox prepaid

Mnp get free 28 months validity, will be extended with evry topup

New number, need to topup rm10 within 24hrs or topup rm50 within 30 days once activated to get the 28 mths validity
*
Isn't the topup to get 28 mths validity only until the end of this month, or is it an ongoing thing for onexox? No deadline for this offer?

Hi guys, excellent thread by the way. Honestly I haven't read the whole 14 pages, I will do so, but in a mean time, i think i just ask here.
Im working oversea. Currently im using prepaid xpax, validity 1 or 2 years (you can choose). The problem is if i need to extend or renew, i can only do it in Malaysia, which means i have to go back to kl and extend it. Is there any telcos/plan that is better than this?
My only criteria is able to receive, send sms and receive and making calls. Data only important when im in kl. Anyone can help?
*
Friends and I have tried doing the extension when we're in Singapore, so quite sure it works in other countries if you're able to log on Celcom's partner network over there.

We did it by sending EXP1 (for 1 year validity extension) or EXP2 (2 years) to 28882. smile.gif

Ocs? Care to elaborate?

I believe he's referring to Celcom's Online Customer Service (OCS).

You can get the link on Celcom's website. smile.gif

Hi all,
I'm currently using HOTLINK WM, free basic internet but I need to top up every month to stay active (but I didn't call much, I feel wasted).
Any other plan can recommend to me? Long Validity & free basic internet will be great.  Digi New Best v1 Prepaid << looks great, but anyone know still available?
Thank you !

update: anyone know HOTLINK FAST got free basic internet & can purchase validity 365 @ RM33?
*
AFAIK, Hotlink FAST comes with free basic internet but cannot subscribe to Validity 365.

New SIM packs for DiGi Best you can only get the DiGi New Best Prepaid v2 these days, comes with free basic internet (which is not the IDDIC) and Super Long Life but the latter costs RM68.

anyone heard about TRON?
*
It's been around for a while, just somehow not popular.

An MVNO riding on Digi network.

Top up of minimum RM10 extends the validity by 1 year.

Is it best prepaid? Can't find it on their site

In the DiGi Best website, you can see FREE Social Messaging - Always Online with Basic Internet for FREE?

Then when you scroll down the page, there's Super Long Life. smile.gif

Thanks saw it. But it says rm8 for 30 days. Not the usual rm30 for 12 months?
*
You'll see the other options when you access the USSD with enough credit balance in your account. smile.gif

The 12 months option, by the way, is RM68 for Digi New Best Prepaid v2 and the latest Digi Best Prepaid. nod.gif

Isn't this the "Retain current number - rm10" one that adiwarna has mentioned? Is there a third option? Unless it's valid only for 1 month? confused.gif

Guys, is Digi Best Prepaid V4 (very old plan), able to convert to Digi New Best Prepaid V1, to take advantage of the IDD Internet Club? Is it worth it? Plan to just use minor internet consumption for whatsapp, etc. while on the move.
*
QUOTE(kroul2 @ Jan 16 2017, 02:54 PM)
Dont convert. This plan already got 500mb basic data. Even tho, still got IDDIC
*
I've the old Digi Best Prepaid v4 (in fact, me and a few friends), and we all have IDDIC. I don't think it's free basic internet though, only the IDDIC.

Have you tried subscribing to IDDIC with the v4? If so, then no need to upgrade unless you want the other new features(?). Anyway, I've a feeling that upgrading will only take you to the latest plan (Digi Prepaid Best 2016). Is there an option to choose to upgrade to an older plan?

This plan already got basic data of 500MB. I can confirm since I have used it. Also, only applicable to upgrade to latest plan(Digi Prepaid Best 2017). Advice: don't convert unless you want 3GB music monthly minus IDDIC

Note: Sorry, my mistake. It was for V2. I dunno about V4  sweat.gif
*
Yup, Digi New Best Prepaid v2 is the newer plan, Digi Best Prepaid v4 is the older one. smile.gif

Yes mine is the very old V4. If can do IDDIC, that will be great. Looking to try it once I reload the card (validtiy expired at moment).

Is there any Digi website link to get further confirmation on this?
*
This is the link I've in my bookmark, not sure if there's any update since then.

You might want to check with Digi on their community forum:

I'm looking to replace my Hotlink Tablet which no longer has 365 days validity, but data still have (RM45 - 2GB for 365 days).

So for the Digi Prepaid Best 2016 v2 come with 500MB monthly auto reset and only buy 365 days validity for RM68 once. In other words, only pay for RM68 then can enjoy free 500MB DATA  every monthy, am I right?

How do I verify that simcard is Prepaid Best 2016 v2?
*
If you've already paid the RM45 for your Hotlink Tablet and the 2GB is going to be valid for another year, and you only need that much data for the period, can consider paying the other RM33 to get Validity 365 instead.

A friend bought a Digi Best card last week and it's stated Digi Prepaid Best 2016, that's the latest plan. Note that the speed on the free basic internet is only 64kbps. I've tried using my own Digi to launch Grab Taxi with this basic internet, until I finally decided to pay RM1 for the daily 300MB fast internet instead. tongue.gif

May I know how the data work in onexox seasonal pass.
Is it something like hotlink tablet plan? Been thinking to replace my tablet plan since not worthy anymore.
*
Being a user of both, I'd say the main difference is that you'll have to subscribe to a data plan in order to "withdraw" from Season Pass when you want to surf. Whereas with Hotlink Tablet, you just need to slot the SIM card and surf away.

Therefore with Hotlink Tablet, you just use up whatever you actually utilize but with OneXOX, the remaining of the data plan you subscribe to cannot be carried forward. For example, you pick a 500MB monthly plan. This 500MB will be gone after that month, even if you actually use less than that (like say 200MB) - cannot be carried forward, once withdrawn, it's "gone" after that month.

But ya, the Hotlink Tablet plan is really bangwall.gif in a sense, as compared to the old one.

Ya just had a chat with DiGi.  Previously I bought Super Long Life at RM30+ per year.  Now changed to DiGi Prepaid Best 2016 because it's the only plan available for SLL, and realized it's RM108 per year!  The prepaid number is for my mom.  She is using feature phone, doesn't need data or SMS, and only makes some calls.  I have RM50+ credit in the account.  Willing to MNP to other telcos.

What are my options?
Okay just saw this helpful post.  Checked out the Tron homepage.  Went through the FAQ and noticed that my existing credit will be burned if I MNP to Tron.  So will use as much credit as possible before jumping.  Thanks!

Bye Digi!
*
SLL is still available to some of the older versions at RM38 and RM68, but you can't really get it unless you're already a holder of one of them - can't downgrade your existing version. nod.gif

Also, I'd go for OneXOX rather than Tron. smile.gif
