Statement balance amount, the one without cash rebate. Other banks allow you to deduct the cash back before payment but it seems CIMB doesn't allow and will impose penalty to cardholders. There were a few forummers shared abouf this earlier.

Thanks for replying. I thought that too, but the CS told me I can pay the outstanding balance.
So I double confirm again with the cs if I'll get penalty for not paying the statement bal, but she said there will be no
problem at all. aiyoo.. so confused..

Credit limit varies, it still depends on banks to offer you. I got around 5x from CIMB.

Well, you can take the risk if you want. If you have the CS name and time of conversation even better, anything happens then quote the name. laugh.gif
But best is get a black and white from bank.

hi, just wanted to ask if perform IBFT via ATM @ CIMB, it charges RM0.53 for the transfer? Isn't it free until end of this year? I had emailed CIMB and it says it is not free if IBFT is performed over CIMB ATM but i can't find any info regarding this at their website.

I can't find a thread on IBFT or CIMB thread, so I am asking here.

I used CIMB IBFT via online and app is free of charge. I think ATM is not applicable.

Wmc elite actually has better benefit
What is your annual spending? It capped the bonus miles at 150k per year.
*
The WMC is capped as well at 50k I believe. But overall both are pretty crap at collecting miles especially with the capping.

The MBB VI beats the WMC at both local and overseas spend, while beating the Elite WMC for overseas spend. Of course, the MBB Premier Amex beats them all. And no capping!

If this is the case, first time paid the full amount based on Statement Balance. How about the cash rebate that we accumulated on the particular month? Next month they will credit back to the Statement Balance?

Just pay full as per Statement Balance to avoid complication of being charged for interest.

Cash rebate will be credited in the next statement and will not be regarded as payment or advanced payment to offset the current statement balance as per forumer feedback.

Ordered Domino's online & received 5% CR.
Bought some boxes of tea & other stuff at Cameron Valley(Ringlet) & received 0.2% CR.

Noted. I just verified with senior officer from CIMB Bank and it is indeed pay in full amount based on Statement Balance rather than Outstanding Balance. Cash rebate will be credited to the next Statement Balance.

I thought domino's fall under dining category (other retail) which only earn 0.2% CR &
buying tea fall under groceries which is 2% CR but seems like it is under other retail.

My guess is because of the Domino online website or payment processor is tagged as e-commerce which makes the transaction falls under online category.

On the other hand, if your tea is bought at those marts or convenience stores, it could be fall under groceries category. Otherwise, it may just fall under dining or other category.

Yes u're right for e-commerce online payment thumbup.gif but for Cameron Valley maybe it is considered as gift store which not fall under groceries unless I bought the tea online biggrin.gif
