Only 1 transaction made during the month? CIMB other retail shd be only 0.2%
*
Is it true & shud be only 0.2% nod.gif

I made 2 trnxs. Using cimb-petronas cc
1 trnx at peronas (petrol) & 1 trnx as said earlier.
But I confused coz only rcvd 2% for petrol.

Kinda weird.. hmm.gif

Which category you expect this transaction fit into?  cool2.gif

I thought domino's fall under dining category (other retail) which only earn 0.2% CR &
buying tea fall under groceries which is 2% CR but seems like it is under other retail.

My guess is because of the Domino online website or payment processor is tagged as e-commerce which makes the transaction falls under online category.

On the other hand, if your tea is bought at those marts or convenience stores, it could be fall under groceries category. Otherwise, it may just fall under dining or other category.
*
Yes u're right for e-commerce online payment thumbup.gif but for Cameron Valley maybe it is considered as gift store which not fall under groceries unless I bought the tea online biggrin.gif

be careful with the agoda pay later option as it might not be considered as online
*
Yup.. Pay at the hotel will earn 0.2% only...
But when you booked thru shopback u'll earn CB up RM60 (if not mistaken)

Today I logged in into cimbclicks to see updated of my c/c transactions. I cannot see cash back credited into my online transx..
If not mistaken, it is usually credited every 29th right??

Huh? Supp card must be different person. If you want online transactions and they are >RM 50 per transaction, you can also apply UOB VOX. Pure RM 50 cash back for online transactions.

CIMB CR is a good card too but too many restrictions and only RM 30 cash back. I chucked all my Grab Car, Uber and bus tickets in this card. laugh.gif
*
Hihi.. just asking.. Thanks for suggestion.. will check on UOB VOX now..

I just checked on VOX card, it requires minimum RM50 purchase...anything less I assume would go under 0.3% tier cash back.  Is this correct?
*
Yes, min 50 entitle 5% CB, below 50 I guess no CB even 0.3%.. is it true?
for below 50 online spending u can use cimb CR

Paid my TNB via posonline today b'coz of 5% CB..

They charge 2% (convenient fee) + 6% gst = 2.12%

Example :

TNB bill - RM 200

they charge : 200(2.12%)=4.24
CR : (200+4.24)(5%)=10.21

So, after deduction : 10.21 - 4.24 = 5.97

the additional RM0.21 CB due to the RM4.24 charges, otherwise if without any charges you will be getting RM10 CB for 5% of RM200

but bottom line, we are getting lesser cashback due to the charges, and the CB earned from the charges is not much!
*
Yes, u're exactly right. PosOnline is the only way to get cashback for TNB bills at the moment.
