TC is meant to be used with compatible TC coils such as nickel/Tits/SS

If you use other coils on that mode, unless your doing joule hack, its pretty pointless as the TC would never be accurate.

Just in case you dont know what is TC, it meant to limit temperature to avoid dry hits or burning your cotton.

TC is meant to regulate temp by restricting the temp pass the preset amount. and wires like Ti Ni and SS needs to be regulated carefully to prevent forming harmful compounds or snapping. oh and also their resistance change according to temperature.

kanthal and nichrome's resistance change is very minimal tc wont detect it so the temp control function is useless in this 2. i solely use TC on my nichrome is so i can alter the wattage since D2's power mode is stupid...
