for a 0.4ohm coil, you should be firing at at least 20watts to be on the safer side, this is to prolong ur battery life.

as of now, ur firing style is under volting the battery and the risk of damaging the battery is there.

do you mean you get CHEK BAT warning even when the battery indicator show still got half capacity?

I think it could be due to D2 lack of step down feature. How was the vapor production at 12W when using freshly charged battery? And this vapor 'quality' was reduced as you vape along till about half battery level right? If that's the case, this confirm the lack of the above feature.

You thought you were running 12 w 2.19 v but actually the mod is firing at 40w (on fresh batt). As the battery goes to 3.7v, it'll fire at 34w. 3.4v gives you 29w. That could explain the 'power loss'.

yes, switch to TC mode should solve your issue

no need, you can use normal kanthal or nichrome in TC mode.. just switch to TC mode then lock resistance by pressing up & down at same time

then set joule as you like

that happens when you're using nickel or titanium in power mode

using kanthal/nichrome in TC mode is fine

pls note that this is for IPV D2 only.. other TC mod might not work this way

last time i just select Ti01... temperature can be ignored, or set to 420-450F

when in power mode, what does your ohm show?

you can try taking off the tank and put back

try go to power mode, then lock resistance. then go to TC mode again and lock resistance again.

to lock resistance, just press the 2 small button at same time.. the screen should show ohm only for brief moment (1-2 sec).. no need to press power button

spend some time watching youtube reviews on D2 helps a lot 

lower down ur joule between 20j-25j..
32j heats up real fast and u'll get that burnt taste if your tank doesnt wick fast enough..

For the DIY-ers, have you encountered this problem when your juice tastes good in a dripper but in a tank, it completely changes. Had a good time with a 'popular' recipe on my derringer but the moment it goes into the kayfun (v4 and lite v2), the flavor turned shitty. Never had that issue with juices bought from the store :/
