I am placing some of my FD due in July on standby. Likely in MBB's GIA-i. Windows of few weeks to buy the USD from mid July onwards.

Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) international reserves amounted to RM383.2 billion (equivalent to US$97.4 billion) as at June 15, 2016 from RM382.6 billion (equivalent to US$97.3 billion) a fortnight ago.

“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 8.1 months of retained imports and is 1.2 times the short-term external debt,” BNM said in a statement today.
