Live report from Narita Airport. I just arrived. The queue is so long I think I will reach my accommodation midnight. Even the air stewardess said she has never seen the crowd like this before. The queue is leading towards the right which is the counter section. I think there are at least 1,000 people in this area only. Like some protest T_T

It's amazing! Now I'm camping at a manga cafe overnight so I can go Tsukiji in the morning at 2AM. It's 990yen for 3 hours at the manga cafe. Inclusive of Internet, drinks, access to books, magazines and a reclining chair to sleep. Lots of tourist camp here and it is 5 min walk away from the market. Will update you about the market!

Anyone can give advice how to plan a 8days trip to hokkaido?
*
8days is jus enuf 😁

in hokkaido, the visiting locations is closely related to 4seasons. some place can oni visit during winter/summer.
oh all 4seasons hv their own speciality food too.
i advise u visit japan guide and tripadvisor for this info

after u mark down the locations u going to visit, then decide u gonna use car rental or public transport... not all place is accessible using public transport... some hv limited schedule.

car park is expensive in sapporo/otaru, but everywhere else is FREE. some hotel hv free carpark for overnite parking. it is not so bad afterall.

Car rental there not cheap as i see, around 300+ per day?will consider about it but depend on budget too.

Noboribetsu also hv summer festival,
after all it called hell valley for a reason
and i read during summer the street will b packed like sardine

u might wan to visit jozanki dam also, can drive 1 circle from sapporo

Human Nature I forgot liao whether you are driving or not. If driving, the shiroi koibito park is exactly on the way from Sapporo to Otaru so you can consider adding that in if you're interested.

Blogwhore link: http://look-see-eat.blogspot.com/2015/11/h...cape-kamui.html

Otaru itself, day trip can d, pray for good weather otherwise the canal will look super underwhelming.

Sapporo 3 days feels a bit long leh. Is there enough summer events to fill up those 3 days? Events aside, I think 1 day enough liao: morning go seafood market (nijo or curb depending how far you wanna go), daytime mt moiwa, night time susukino/tanukikoji/pole town finish riao.

I'd rather cut 1 day from Sapporo spend it overnight in Noboribetsu. Check in Takimotokan, go bear park and feed the bears, go hiking in Jigokudani then come back soak in the 7 stars onsen 👍🏿👍🏿
*
u r the 3rd person been to takimotokan in the thread icon_rolleyes.gif

for him 3days sapporo is ok la, coz he planned to take train for the whole trip
and if lucky can join Sapporo Summer Festival cheers.gif

My plan so far

Day 0 - Arrived, Overnight in airport
Day 1 - Sumida / Asakusa / Asakusabashi (hotel is at this area)
Day 2 - Akihabara / Tokyo central/Nihonbashi / Ginza
Day 3 - Tokyo Tower area / Tsukiji area / Odaiba
Day 4 - Mibu/Tochigi / Ueno / Tokyo Dome area
Day 5 - Checkout from Asakusabashi / Kawaguchiko
Day 6 - Checkout from Kawaguchiko / Shinjuku

Day 7-10 need to be adjusted depending on the hotel. Haven't decided yet which hotel to go. So can consider not finalized yet.
Day 7 - Harajuku / Shibuya / Roppongi
Day 8 - Nakano / Ikebukuro
Day 9 - Disneyland area (might scrap this plan)
Day 10 (last) - Free day. Dont know where to go. Might repeat to Akihabara. Flight at 11.45PM

Any comment or feedback?
*
i think Sumida best to go during sakura season,
go on normal day wasted, coz it is jus a average park...
better off goto yoyogi park on sunday morning ~ more event

tokyo tower if possible go 2 times,
1) (daytime) on weekend u can climb using staircase,
upon u reach... there is one pretty lady waiting for u brows.gif
and present a certificate card upon completion innocent.gif
2) (nitetime) take nite view photo from outside, park/carpark/main road icon_idea.gif
*make sure u hv good camera and tripod

QUOTE(Sim On @ May 12 2016, 05:21 PM)
I have a question about the fastest way to transfer from Haneda to Narita Airport.

My sister is traveling to Japan end of this month. Her flight back on 10 June is :

Osaka > Haneda on JAL220 (ETA 7.40am)
Narita > KUL on JAL723 (ETD 11.20am).

She has 3h 50minutes in between, provided the flight from Osaka is not delay. I read most of the forums said the time is doable, but a bit tight.

May I know what is the best & fastest way to get from HND to NRT?

Is it better by Limousine Bus? Or by Airport Limited Express train?

I understand the Limousine bus is direct bus and it will take you directly to the departure terminal (in this case is Terminal 2, the 1st stop). The fare is 3,100yen one way. Travel time is about 80 minutes.

However I'm not so sure about the Airport Limited Express. Does it need for any transfer between the train stations? Is the train faster than the bus? I'm worried the bus will be caught in the morning rush hour.

Or is there better option to get to NRT the fastest?

Need advice for sifus here. Thanks.
*
i hate ANA, no direct flight, else i bought it aldy for upcoming trip

Can, I done this alot of time.
KL > Narita > Haneda > Rest of Japan by JAL or ANA.
If got checked in luggage then cannot because not transit at same airport.

That guy sister have no checked in luggage. So It can be done. Checked in at KIX at same time checked In at Narita as well. But safety, once reached Narita Airport, double confirm at check in counter one more time.
*
why ANA/JAL no local flight from narita, all hv to go thru haneda

u know from narita to haneda is damn far
we hv to plan own transport and there is no special service from narita to haneda

if got any mistake, we might totally miss the flight
