Wanted to get opinion and advice. going there from 2nd to 16th march.
Will be spending 14 days in japan but the plan is to do the following in Chubu area.
1) Night bus to kanazawa day 1
2) kanazawa day 2 and 3
3) gokayama day 4
4) shirakawago day 5
5) takayama day 6
6) gero onsen day 7
7) Nagoya day 8 and 9. night bus to Tokyo arrived day 10.

I can extend another day to have day 10 some where along the path.

Any itinerary or place to recommend?

for now I am aware gokayama and shirakawago is similar and takayama and gero onsen can be combine if needed.

kanazawa is a revisit been there last fall go there for food and scenery.

Not that interested in Kyoto or Osaka. Nagano area is not in the path but will visit in detail next fall

Guys/gals, how to deal with luggage on final day when flight is in the evening?

6.25pm depart Narita.

Since my AirBnB gonna be 2 stops away from tokyo station, my thought is check out in the morning, go tokyo station, put bag in luggage coin locker, then go soapland do a half day worth of whatever, then back to tokyo pick up bag and go to Narita in the afternoon.

Sounds good?

If no coin locker is available for your luggage size, there is a left luggage counter at tokyo station too.

Left Luggage Counter Service price almost similar to ''Ta Q Bin'' service already. That why most Japanese never used Left Luggage Counter Service

i am thinking of trying kaiten sushi too...am wondering whether the average kaiten sushi restaurant there is similar to sushi king / sakae sushi in malaysia or much better? if almost similar, then i will just drop the idea.

Hi guys, anyone experience taking ANA airline before?

Is it worth the wait for transit if buy ANA multi-city (KUL->Osaka, then Tokyo->KUL)? Considering the price is quite tempting which cost RM1.3k+, and includes meals + up to 2 pieces luggage (23kgx2) per way

Or better to take AA? hmm.gificon_question.gif
