Go any Lawson outlet used a machine to buy ticket.
If dunno then ask the shop to staff help you.

Make sure you reserve one day earlier.

Told you one bad news....Early of Oct until Mid Oct are China National Day. Japan will full of China tourist.
Your chances can get Ghibli tix less than 40%

Gonna forfeit my air ticket for this Oct because my company said I don't have enough annual leave to take (or else getting warning letter for taking >2 days unpaid leave to cover the remaining days), plus the cost to change flight date on AA can get you another air ticket technically...

Probably will plan a (family) trip to HK or TW on 2017 first, than make a 2-3 weeks (solo) JP trip on 2018 once my WP expires...

I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps you could try to go into Airasia thread or check the terms and conditions and see how you could get some refund. Even if the amount is lesser. Might be a way that you can try. All the best to you!

Hello everyone! Just hopped into the ship to Tokyo! My trip is on next year February! It's going to be cold but doubt it would snow. laugh.gif Staying in Tokyo the entire trip, have plans on going to Disneysea, Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Still planning on how to squeeze all in as only having 6 days and my gf want to visit all these famous ramen places.

Plans is to stay in Shibuya as Shinjuku is too exotic (if you know what I mean). Would like to ask everyone here, besides the 3 hotel/inn mentioned on the first post, do you guys check Airbnb too? Any recommendations on Airbnb? Found some that comes with free pocket wifi, which is quite essential as my gf likes to take pictures and upload to instagram. biggrin.gif

Thank you in advance. Looking to learn from all of you guys. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

found out that the USJ advance tickets can only be purchased through agencies
https://www.usj.co.jp/e/ticket/
I have asked Apple Holiday regarding this in FB, but all they did were giving some non-related promos instead

if wanted to buy walk-in, will the queue be very long?
*
Buy from JTB Malaysia. Open-dated entrance ticket. For express pass (if you want), you still need to buy at the counter on the day itself.

1. Reach Tokyo and straight go Lawson machine to buy - slim chance + not ideal if your schedule is not flexible
2. Sign-up for a half day tour to Ghibli Museum
3. Pre-booked and buy from scalpers

Enoshima + Kamukura are very standard one day tour.
After finished Kamukura then used Enoden to Enoshima. On way can visit Big Buddha also.

i see, so 1 day cannot cover 2 places la. okay2. will re-adjust my plan. thanks sifu!  notworthy.gif

one more thing, do anyone have use Travel Recommendation service for pocket wifi? If yes, hows the caverage n speed like yea? Thank you!
*
I have used it for my trip to Japan this March. My review, speed is good and coverage is good as well. most of the time I can get with full speed except arashiyama, but its considerable okay since its mountain area. However, I would recommend you to get the router from them one or two day earlier before your departure. During my trip, they havent open their counter in KLIA2 yet. So, I have to wait for them to pass me the router and somehow they only reach KLIA2 one hour before my flight. Frightened me out as I thought I almost couldnt make it to my plane. BTW, their main office is around KLCC, so if you happen to be working nearby, then might as well get the router from the main office.
