Hi all,
I will be travelling to Hokkaido for the first time in this August, summer season and would like to seek for opinion here. As I will be travelling with my mum & she loves flower, so I will be bringing her to Furano & Biei area.
Should I make a day trip to Furano & Biei or should I stay a night there? What are the interesting places to cover at Furano & Biei apart from Lavendar farm? How to travel in between Furano & Biei? Any night activities to spend there?
Cuz my mum is already 50+ and I don't want to make the trip rush, so I'm considering to stay a night there at Furano or Biei. I'm thinking whether should stay at Furano or Biei? Has anyone visited there during summer? Mind to share your experiences?
Thanks & have a nice day.

I been Hokkaido 53 times. Summer experience only 6 times only....LOL
Hokkaido summer doesn't suit me. Winter are my Pros side. 42 trips Experience.
Summer at Furano & Biei can see Lavender + Sunflower + full of colorful flower.
No need overnight at Furano or Biei. Just Go from Morning and back to Sapporo at Evening.
If got JR Hokkaido Rail Pass. Just take earliest JR Limited Express ''Super Kamui'' to Asahikawa Station. Then change to JR Furano Line to Biei Station & Furano Station.
Kami Furano Station - For Sunflower Farm
Naka Furano Station - For Lavender + Tomita Melon House
Furano Station - Furano town. Can get all Furano product here.
Don't forget go Tomita Melon House. The Best thing you can found at Furano. The Melon + Melon Ice Cream + Sweet Corn.....it just so wonderful.
The Sweet Corn must eat ''Raw''. It so sweet , It must eat ''raw''
