Samsung Amoled traditionally is always VERY BRIGHT and its colors are always over saturated ( more to fake) - this is the main issue which I never like on Samsung phones. However many users think otherwise.!!

this is my very first time with huawei oso

Whenever I use any Samsung I always tone down brightness as low as possible n choose basic color display instead of other higher end options

one thing bout the amoled i heard is that black wallpaper/background can save battery, which is nice.

but over time the white become yellow, is it still like that now? my previous s3 is like that, white is yellow lol.

I think you will be more than happy n simply amazed at Mate 8 battery life. Even though its battery capacity is only 23-33% additional over say Nexus 6P, LG V10 its usage life is close to double of these 2 phones. This is based on my usage

ya, issue with over saturated color not fix in amoled screen yet.

Really hard to edit the photo with the color you want on a amoled screen, that's why i sold my nexus 6p already.

Already pre order s7 edge to try the latest amoled screen again.

i didn't want 6p due to the 2k screen... if it was 1080p i would have bough that instead, since i prefer stock google.

a chinese guy just called, saying that he is from XXX company (he talked so fast that i cannot hear the name of the company). he said i have purchased the 64gb space grey mate 8 from gemfive, but there is no such unit and that gemfive had made a mistake. bla bla bla.

he said he has received the stock and there are only two versions for the 64gb model, either gold or mocha gold. i was like, "mocha gold? not mocha brown?" he then told me that officially it should be mocha gold as that's what stated on the box of the phone (really??). i told him that i will take the mocha gold (aka brown) version. he said he will post the phone tomorrow!

even tho i have emel gemfive yesterday, telling them to switch my phone from space grey to mocha brown, it seems that they didn't deliver the message to the (real) seller. luckily they called me directly. sigh.

i'm not sure what courier service they gonna use (i bet gemfive oso dunno)
let's hope that we will receive it tomorrow late afternoon or saturday. some companies do arrange special delivery on saturday, even there was once i received my parcel on sunday, delivered by poslaju. but don't expect too much lah (expectation = disappointment).

oso, if you check gemfive, it seems that there's another seller selling mate 8! cheaper by Rm 10!
