Finally got myself a mate 8 mocha brown. Quite diff from a note 5 in alot of ways.

Need to get used to it to give proper feedback. But so far, loving

Hye..i think want to change my note 5 to mate 8...any recomended seller with lowest price?as long as original malaysia set..any online shopping with voucher code?tq

I noticed there's some lagging when scroll through certain apps like Facebook, play store and even chrome. Don't know what's the problem.
Also the touchscreen sensitivity is slightly less. For other phone the touch will be registered even with the slightest contact. But for mate 8 I need a bit of pressure. I've tested without the screen protector as well.

Ya, WhatsApp will compress the picture, but Wechat can send full size picture.

Many said Mate 8 won't be like Note 5. Later express some review k.

1 thing i already notice after less than a days usage, the touch screen isnt as sensitive as the note 5's.

on note 5, i barely have to touch twice for the same function. on the mate 8, that has happened few times.

im using normal pasar malam tpu.. and just purchase nillkin tpu clear.. i like the cutting of nillkin..i purchase at lazada by Bdotcom bundle with temper glass for COD Rm60..
now currently using Nillkin Nature Tpu Clear.. can show out the body design and the unique colour of this phone..
even tpu get yellowish also not a problem..cos the body colour are looks like it.. haha.

Just bought the 3gb ram mate 8 version and noticed the bottom portion (above Huawei logo) of the screen/lcd is a little bit yellowish on white color. How about yours?

My set is an absolutely gem. Very good quality build and smooth like butter. 4GB ram can multi task like a boss, even if restart the apps also very fast. Better than most of the devices I used before.

I have used Mate 7 before, Mate 8 had improved in every way. The fingerprint is lightning fast and super accurate, so far never fail to recognize my 3 registered fingers. UI seems to be less heavy or maybe the newer processor and extra rams make a significant difference.

GPS lock, signal reception all very good. The battery life is really power, on battery for more than 25 hours and SOT 5 hours 30mins already, it still left with 20% juices. Very impressive.

Im also a fan of nillkin nature tpu, only problem now is gotta charge using usb port and not wireless like my note 5, so the dust plug will be annoying.

I want spigen ultra hybrid but seems the price shot up by abt 15-20 bucks excluding postage. Shopping around first..
