How much is the compressor oil and gas? My air-cond is not as cold as I'd like it to be, and also the engagement is kinda rough at times.
*
not remembering the items breakdown in detail, vacuum and refill compressor oil ~ RM35, R134A = rm60, labour i forgot how much... then some gst and credit card tax...
my compressor also sound rough before and after the service, but i juz ignore it. the rough sound obvious during traffic jam..

how can a normal car's exhaust manifold crack like this?
you got spray water(or sent to car wash to wash engine) when the engine still hot or not?

When for proton SC for replacement, they said my car is not a first car to have such problem. Most persona extractor will crack surpirsingly at the same spot and with the same crack. They quoted me RM253.85 for the parts exclude labour and gst.

I sent for engine wash when the temperature of the engine is cold enuf. Not such foolish to do that when hot temperature.
*
ya, as asked by The_FQ400, how do you aware the exhaust manifold is cracked? do you remove the manifold cover since long time ago? (i guess so as noticed the oxygen sensor still plugged in while cover wasn't there)

The avg l/100km from the computer accurate or nt 1? That day pump full tank. Go highway 180km with average speed of 110-120.. Half tank gone....
*
the 7 - 9km/litre i calculate by my own, not from the trip meter litre/100km

QUOTE(Wulfgraf @ Feb 19 2016, 08:51 AM)
mine is 8.5l/100km. Higher or lower better? Mostly highway driving.
*
there's 2 formula used in modern car for fuel trip meter...
continental car usually use x litre/100km, x lesser means fuel saving, imagine 0 litre/100km when you cruising down slope, means no fuel used.

for japan or asian car, usually they use y km/litre, y lesser means more fuel usage, imagine hybrid car average 20 km/litre vs. 7 km/litre i'm getting.... cry.gif

The fuel gauge is not linear la, cannot calculate liddat.

My second and third quarter lasts longer than the other two.
*
the last quarter before empty is crazy, i think mine less than 50km on last 1/4 it will lit-up the low petrol warning. so now i got phobia always refuel when reaching 1/4 sign.

ya i know. that's just my observation. also depends how full the tank is filled up. it will go quite far while the needle is still passed F
*
i always filled up till the gun auto stop, chun chun pointing at F on the meter, drive 20-30km the meter already lesser than F.

do i need to look for foreman himself or accessories shop cuz they more familiar with electronic stuff?

so far dashboard light on bacck d.... signal light gone now.... plus hazard light.....  sigh.....
*
your description more like intermittent wiring or electronic short, not as simple as fuse blown as that would be permanent effect until you replace the fuse.
usually foreman won't touch the wiring stuff, they will recommend you to wiring guy. bear in mind some "big group" of accessories shop also not familiar of car wiring, just simply tap wiring point. Last time my father's car screen for reverse camera no power after rear accident repair, the accident repair workshop just sent to big accessories shop and the technician took more than 30 mins to tap to a permanent power source, once start car the screen will always displaying unless i off it my self, their sifu lied to me reverse camera screen is like that one, need permanent on de (wtf, luckily workshop gaodim the fee so i no need pay). Later i send back to the place i installed the reverse camera, the technician just done in less than 10 mins.

My Persona elegance (Auto) the engine check light is continue to on after i start the car. then when i change the gear from P to D drive, the car jerk. when i press the pedal while driving, the car like not really responsive. It still can move but need to press the pedal more. the rev becomes high. I encountered this problem few month back. went to workshop the mechanic said is throttle body problem. so changed a new throttle body. now only few months the problems come again. is it really throttle body problem?

anyone experience the similar problems?
*
send to proton sc or some workshop that has tool to read the fault code, no reader we can only blind guessing...
last time i encountered the "D" symbol blinking, also gave harsh jerk when engage to "R" gear. Press pedal i think gear was in limp home mode stuck on 2nd or 3rd gear. It was the speed sensor connector loosen came out from the gearbox area. proton sc just help me to plug back in.

i would advise you get it repair before long outstation trip lor. 1st is safety concern as the usage of signal light, 2nd is you don't know what's wrong with it, gila gila meter panel readings reset before, no lights etc. get it fixed to have peace of mind before long journey. icon_rolleyes.gif

is it because everyday i going through 20-25 speed bumps?

I mean total number of speed bumps is ranging 20-25, depends which route I take... Usually I slow down to less than 20km/h, but still many cars like to tiong behind. I was wondering how frequent those speeder replace absorbers

as what stated in the Toyota Type-IV, it's suitable for many types of ATF such as Dex-II, III, SP-III was in the list as well
*
Original Toyota T-IV ATF suitable for SP-III? I don't think so...
If you referring to some aftermarket "multi-compatible" ATF which stated Toyota T-IV, SP-III, Dexron III, then that is different league.

When i went to a spare part shop to purchase atf for my next service, the towkay also offered me toyota type IV. I was shocked and repeated my order for use in my persona, and he said it can be use in persona.
Last i still stick to proton spiii.. bruce.gif
*
typical malaysian mindset mar. last time i drive kelisa they also sell me proton spIII, they said proton and perodua national car same gearbox.
you'd surprised 15 years ago when authorized honda sc pour in conventional ATF into their CVT gearbox honda city.
