I have searched in a lot of places (there are just too many brands and models in the market )....ended up here seeking for recommendation to replace a Samsung S3.

1. Brand : any
2. Budget : RM1k - RM1.5k
3. Specs : use mainly for FB, photo taking (non selfie), huge storage for photos, watch movie and some light gaming
4. Type/Size. : preferred 5'-6'
5. Lifespan : hopefully to last 3-4 years

2. Budget : below 1.7k.. I can get brand new iphone se or p9 under 1.7k. So not a problem
3. Specs : nice camera, and no lag.. The os can be update ( android 6.0 to 7, or ios 10 to 11 later ).. All this while i'm using huawei honor 3c / redmi note 2.. So i need a nice camera and overall experience this time
4. Type/Size. : bigger is better. But in this case, p9 or ip se camera.. Overall performance, which is better.

I always wanted an iphone. And this time, p9 camera also nice. Confuse sighhh

My HTC M8 is broken and I'm trying to find a new phone which is available now.
Below are the details:

1. Brand: Any
2. Budget: Around RM3000 (preferably below)
3. Specs:
- Phone that uses Adreno 530/430 GPU and is readily available now in Msia
- These phone usually uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or 810
- More than 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM (not compulsory)
4. Type/Size: 5"-6" which can fit easily in pocket

Since you're coming from a phone with dual stereo speakers, I would recommend...

Xiaomi Mi5 - RM1800, 16MP, 3000mAh. Ok I guess. Found one shop around my place with the PRO version.
OnePlus 3 is out of stock, but the RAM is just irresistible.
Seems like Brightstar is the only distributor. I will call em tomorrow to see if they are still available.
The price is around RM2000 which is a good deal.

ZTE Axon 7 - RM 2000. But the availability of Dolby speaker and WQHD screen is tempting!
Sony Xperia XZ - Thanks for the release date. I was actually planning to buy this one if there are no other good choices.
But seems like there are other flagship killer phones. Really liked this once because it's waterproof, has good sound feature (aptX) and 4K video.
HTC 10 - About the same price as Xperia XZ (around RM2700).
Nothing much "new" compared to my phone except OIS and screen.
Really hate HTC SW team ever since they've removed OTG, Blinkfeed, HTC backup & video cam feature.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is out. Not gonna go through the hassle buying this phone due to bad review of the battery.

I'll check YT review and then decide which one is the best IMO.
Also would like your opinions on ZTE and Xiaomi aftersales service (especially in JB).

Not sure about the aftersales service for both brands though, but ZTE offers 2 years warranty, free one-time screen damage repair (first 6 months) and free one-time water damage repair (within 24 months warranty) for the Axon 7.

Hello. I'm in a need for a new phone, my Xperia Z1 is running on fumes.

1. Brand. - I prefer one that easy to claim warranty. So any really

3. Specs. - Better than Xperia Z1 especially the battery and screen.

I've been looking at LG Stylus 2 Plus but can't seem to find a good review and what's the specifications for Malaysian set. Read it differ from region to region

I am currently looking for a phone to replace my dying oneplus one. My requirements as below:

1. Brand: Any
2. Budget: Pls suggest me phone with budget around RM1K and RM2k? (Two suggesstions)
3. Specs. At least at par with my current oneplus one. Good battery life. Smooth with no lag. Good developer/community support is a plus.
4. Type/Size: At least 5.2inch, prefer 5.5inch

Currently looking at Redmi Note 3 Pro (Sub RM1k), 1+3 and P9 (for RM2K budget) . Any other suggestions?

I would say the 1+3, but you can consider the Huawei P9 as well.

Yeah, 1+3 is my 1st choice but malaysian set is out of stock everywhere.

How bout phone with sub RM1k budget? Any suggestion?
