Reviews on battery life seem bad, probably not suitable since pokemon go consume a lot of battery This post has been edited by danielcmugen: Aug 19 2016, 03:28 PM

Hi,
Please suggest me the cheapest Smartphone or Tablet that can can support Desktop Full Web Browser, not mobile browser version, i.e. desktop version of Firefox. Any OS is fine, no name OS also fine. Need something lightweight to access full web version of some websites. (many features are not working in mobile version -too watered down). "Request Desktop site" feature is useless for some websites that I need to access. Other specs like camera not important. I already have a laptop and netbook but they are too bulky to be on-the-go, i.e. in the car, going outside, walking on the road etc. Thanks! Just a reminder, please make sure that the phone is stated "Sold & Fulfilled by Meizu Malaysia" or "Lazada".As for alternatives, I would also recommend the ZTE Blade V7 Lite which is selling for RM 499 in Lazada. http://www.lazada.com.my/zte-blade-v7-lite...r-10119401.html |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Aug 14 2016, 11:27 PM) Tbh, both are overpriced in their own ways. You can get a Lenovo Vibe X3 that is price similarly but with better specs. How is it a disaster? Cuz of price? But I were to choose either one, I would go for Galaxy A7 2016 mainly because it's the more stable one compared to Xperia XA Ultra. Sony's X series is a disaster. |

1. Brand.
- All. but preferably not obscure brand like gionee or LeEco 2. Budget. - RM1k and below 3. Specs. - Min 2gb ram, preferably 3gb. - internal min 16gb, preferable with expandable storage 4. Type/Size. - 5" and below 5. Notes - Buying for my mum. Gaming is not a priority. - Reliability is a must. Preferably with the less buggy UI and good updates - Good to excellent battery life So far, best I can find is Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro. But it's not officially launched in M'sia yet. While DirectD sells it and says it's Global Rom, I believe it's tampered vendor rom. This post has been edited by stormsea7: Aug 22 2016, 12:56 AM |

QUOTE(danielcmugen @ Aug 19 2016, 03:27 PM) You are right. I decided to forego p8 lite after studying more about it and realised it's battery is quite weak. Instead, now opting for p9 lite, listed as RM 950 at gemfive but using standard chartered CC, can get up to RM 200 discount. However, can't decide if the p9 lite which at RM750, is already over my budget, is any better from the earlier mentioned meizu mx4 or meizu note. |
