uih, still considered cheap tu me.
I dont know why superbikes' tires are very expensive compare to cars. can you image that, 2 piece, front and rear already cost about RM1400. and lasts about 5-6 months only. mine one already cost RM900 for front and rear, darn |

instead of the Pirelli dragon, you're better off with Neova or ES100 or even Kumho.
how much u got the dragon for? other alternatives :- 215/45/17 Silverstone Evol8 Kumho Escta 711 Yokohama ES100 Yokohama A-drive Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 Good year Eagle RevSpec II Dunlop Direzza D101 All of the above if at par or better compared to the Dragon. |

HI, i am using goodyear F1 195/50 R15, .. as you said, it is super in the rainny day and cornering is good. howerver,..... after half a year, you will find it very very noisy, very very very very vey bumpy and uncomfortable. too sad
just curious, is there any good tire on 185/55 R15 size? for around 200 per piece. think to have more comfortable and quiet drive. i am not doing racing, performance is kind of bonus. This post has been edited by maan: Feb 13 2007, 01:40 PM |

yeah.. it's an exact replica in design but not in substance. It's also have extra load rating, which means the sidewall is thicker and heavier. it's a good tyre though.. loved it while it lasted. Espionage, Michelin PP2 don't have stock at the moment. so, cannot give price leh. later if stock comes and different price, hailat loor... hehehe This post has been edited by sakaito: Feb 13 2007, 12:25 PM |

Barum is definitely better than NCT5 but it'll get noisy at around 50% thread because of the thread design.
My friend used it on his Estima supercharged before. very good grip on wet and dry. tried highway and also genting! hehehe recommended if you're looking at local tyres but with a bit of performance on the side. Espionage, I'll check the pricing for the Ziex and Kruizer tomorrow. Sorry la, today have to run here and there (family errand! haihs) choiheng, enjoy your Neovas dude. |
