Dunno wor.. depends if govt really follow through. Now still suggestion only.

I think it's a strong possibility especially since there is a tonne of projects going to be launched with more phases to come. (e.g BBCC, TRX, KL118, Bandar Malaysia, Iskandar region etc). They need some minions to buy something or else no side income for some cronies and bread butter for their proxies.

I am looking into SCGM.
It's past performance has been good. Price-wise ok.
Downside is four of the directors seem to be siblings. Just imagine one day they fall out with each other hmm.gif

Seafood, I got a question on right issue.
MFCB just send me the form to subscribe,
stated the number of rights shares provisionally allotted to me and the payable.

under subcription option i saw "you can opt to" (i) ; "and/or" (ii)
means i can top up la?
so means 2 bank drafts ka?

Dunno about the exact procedure

But rights issue means u can buy x shares at cheaper price
If u don't subscribe/buy, your holdings would be diluted

Buy lor, yes u need bank draft and revenue stamp if I'm not mistaken

Pink Spider Wah, u bought into Hiaptek! Expecting turnaround in 2nd qtr ah biggrin.gif

On your property thingy, I heard u can get the funds as long as u can give all the relevant documents to EPF. Go check EPF website for more details.
But, whether subsequently EPF investigates or does a review on whether the funds given to u was really paid to the seller, that part I duno. I don't they will be that petty.

My 2 cents: if you haven't bought your first property yet, then u shouldn't waste it on dealing with your friend. U don't want to lose all those "first home buyer" benefits just like that. Should just keep your EPF money and let them do the compounding work for you. But if your "friend" is your gf who will be your fiancee, then yeah just go ahead.

Purely a speculative play blush.gif

On the home loan trick...
I get my EPF moolah...
On paper, he sells his property to me
He still continue pay his current monthly loan instalment, only that this will become a "rental" payment
This "rental" payment goes toward paying my home loan
End of the rental period, he still get back his home ownership, I gonna transfer back to him at zero consideration
This is a genuine home purchase, no main tipu

I think I can do better than EPF blush.gif

EPF giving 6+ % consider ok lah... keep as part of your 'bond' portfolio allocation loh.. yawn.gif

Otherwise..

Better you buy property charge rental (to offset loan) and get appreciation, in the end the property is yours..
