Haha I just read the report.. very interesting..

Net cash on hand is 57 cents, stock price is selling for 40.5 cents. This is a classic net-net stock, long time never see one of these already.

If the shareholder will distribute the profits, then it is a good buy. If they are not sure what to do with the money, might be a classic value trap.

Update :

The company will lease back the sold property for RM 30K a month to LTKM. dry.gif
The cash from the land sale will be used for the following..
- repay borrowing 11.76 mil
- working capital, construction & others ~26 mil

So.. no money will be back to shareholders... hmm.gif

So if the company has a dividend policy is a good stock for shareholder compare none?
*
Not necessary, if the company that do not pay dividend can grow their earnings quickly is also good.So it depends.

I'm looking at the 10 yrs record. Every increasing except for 2016. But the share prices for the 10 yrs is quite flat except for 2014 which peak then return to baseline.

Maybe I should not look so far back 10 yrs?
*
What matter in share investing is not looking at what happen 10 years ago, but what will happen next year.

if you think they will increase earning by substantial amount next year, then the stock might be a good buy if it is not expensive (in terms of PE).

The market appreciates and rewards more towards those always reward shareholders the company profit with dividend.

See those stingy dividend even with tons of cash pile of few billions, share price can underperform for decade.
Share price below NTA, or share price at cash  per share etc.

While those reward shareholder with max (near to its EPS), share price sky-rocketing even with little NTA in the book.

We see those so called "expensive stock" are those giving generous dividend one.

A stock (generous dividend) with NTA RM1, share price RM50,
vs
B stock (stingy dividend) with NTA RM10, share price RM5.

A keep on outperform B in the history.

Profit grows, shareholders also must be rewarded, if not forever can see, cannot touch, just like tons on money in the cabinet, but no access into it, what's for?
For looking?  laugh.gif

Yes you are right, but sometimes.. some company are capital intensive due to high growth, but when later growth slows, they should increase more dividend paid.

While waiting for pinky...i checked already.

Higher revenue and profit for palm oil segment. <---- performing sector

Lower revenue for wood segment and net loss. <---- culprit tongue.gif

35% drop in log and plywood sales.. and 14% decline in average selling price, so wood is not doing well at all sweat.gif

Maybe we can get better than 5.7% if they hold stockes longer term??

Emm if they try harder not to lose money like 1MDB/GLC loans and Felda investment.. we can get more than 5.7% jor... no need try so hard to trade for KFC. laugh.gif

INARI

Quarterly revenue and gross profit actually drop. But its 'other operating income' - mainly comes from forex gain -  increases by more than 10 times, and is equivalent to 59% of the amount of gross profit.
On top of that, admin expenses also increases by 20%.

Not exactly great  hmm.gif

Palm oil is like fruits lah, depends on the soil, weather, rain, fertilizer etc. If good condition, then the fruits will become a lot and big, if not then you get less or smaller fruits.

As last time I said, sarawak soil is mostly peat soil, not so suitable for palm oil, hence they yield is expected to be lesser than other plantation on good soil.

Palm Oil with good soil are in these location.. brows.gif

1. West Peninsular Malaysia (perak region)
2. Sabah (east region)
3. Sumatera (dumai area)
4. Kalimantan (South, east and central area)

look at GenP and Innoprise, Hupseng, UP, KLK.. all have plantation in these area do..

I am an honest and straight forward person-lah Pink Spider.  biggrin.gif

I thought this thread is the same like the Fundsupermart thread where the members will inform each other what unit trusts they are currently buying and selling, some will post their monthly portfolio and some will even upload their actual FSM statements to show their gain.  shocking.gif

But maybe this thread is a bit different? Some sifu just talk but don't show their actual portfolio or the shares that they actually bought? So really Kopitiam trader?  rclxub.gif

No problem. I will definitely post here about my overall portfolio whether it is making a profit or suffering losses. If it is making a profit, how I can improve further? If I make a loss, what can the members here learn from my mistake?  sweat.gif
*
Investing in fund and stock is different.. if fund, you got in wrongly.. not so much risk, lose a bit and at the most you keep holding.

If stock, you got in the wrong stock, you can lose the entire capital.

Sometimes if people lose capital when following other people's advice/hints/posting etc, they may get angry...

Also there might be some toxic people who push up nonsense stocks to boost it up and then sell to make quick profit.

So people are more cautious about promoting stocks, but dont worry, our community here is much better and adult compared to other forums.. rclxms.gif
