Something like that la.... ( your one ah? )

( I hate formulas...like i hate them abc soup yardsticks....like i hate them chart indicators laugh.gif my own poison la tongue.gif)

Have a simple comparison table...
The forex boost should always be an 'extra'....
ie you do want to see actual sales+profit growth...
Its up to your ownself to set your own poison settings....

My one lo. Did it on the go. Profit growth, minimum 3 years, and USD factor compare see see lo.

The formula is growth only....

So if i wanna compare by annually, i include TTM is it right or wrong? And this TTM have to update whenever there's new quarter report right

And after seeing my noob comparison, besides consolidation of USD, the growth is aint too bad isn't it? Or any decrease of growth percentage compared previously is already consider bad?

Like I said, this is up to your own personal settings. wink.gif

I don't believe that there's one size fit all simply cos what I use is set to my own style of trading.
What suits me might poison the hell of you ....

For ttm.
Your table setting looks ok.
FY, FY, FY then TTM.

I won't go overly crazy for the Q-Q comparisons...

most of my stuff is all ....
one time see...
if it looks good it looks good.
if it looks bad it looks bad.
and of course iffy is iffy...

I keep everything simple.

I certainly won't put the growth rate like how you put there.

regarding the current thing - the USD thing.

last time...
I spit out until my spit became all crystallized that the USD is my friend....
that was way back....

as you can see your chart and reflect back...
that coincided with the super strength or issit the super duper lembik-ness of our ring ring....

that was when you see the super duper fly fly stocks...
and so many jokers...
come out crying that they are now the masters of the universe...
the super shitfu....

that was a super duper easy call....

that's the point...

everyone could have gotten the call correct.

but now....

the simple question is...
where is the meat?
is there still meat?

and how is the bloody risk assessment at this point of time?

take a look at the USD chart...

could it reclaim the 4.40 mark?
and what's beyond?
which is the catalyst to drive it over and beyond?

is it all system go?

wink.gif

and could the ring ring somehow....
claim back lost ground?

i reckon that these are the issues you need to assess IF you use the USD as your primary factor in your decision making....

like the wise fella once said....
why don't you sit on the bowl and think about it....

Thanks for the feedback.

USD i think is also a bonus factor only. Most importantly is still making profit and is in somewhat growth. That's my simple thinking.

Yea i'm kinda not too sure what to make ultimate conclusion over Q-Q comparison.

Ok will see does this USD factor affect homer/export stocks greatly. In my watchlist Magni, YSPSAH is going down already.

Well your simple thinking is correct.
You do not want to see the stock getting whacked just cos the earnings dropped a lot due to correction of the USD.

But ..... tongue.gif

Such thinking is fine..... but it probably suits the investing kia....
so you trading kia or investing kia?

ps: like I did say earlier...
you cannot trade all season....
there are times one just needs to sit and goyang and goyang the two....... kaki la.

Haha well one of the main reason is it made a big move upward from the consolidation on 1st of June. But the following day it closed below with much higher volume. So was thinking after consolidate for so long to make such a move and end it within 2 days surely is not over? But now it moved back into the consolidation area... So... @@

LOL!

Once there are too many...
one always, always, always on many occasions forced to surrender their big fat winners.....

cool2.gif

See the big money is always on those who sit and wait patiently for their big fat kill....

switching in and out...
it's like cloud hopping.....
sometimes one might end up no where to hop...
or one might also end up with a sinking cloud....

tongue.gif

there are few stocks right now...
if you sit....
you would surely be rewarded very lang chai-ly....
