Job Desciption : Write scripts, brainstorm ideas, develop campaigns for big brands
Company : MNC
Years spent in company : 5 months

You got no papers/certifications? from experience before joining and years spent in company, you start once you finished SPM. That is some attractive and motivating salary for SPM leavers. rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

not sure, that's why checking it out here... cuz at least for past 2 pages in this thread, it seems like the salary range is quite high for people with 2-3y experience. (not the same industry mostly)

i'm just wondering is that normal for C&S consultants for fresh grad, and how the average increment is like for my industry.
*
Please bare in mind that all the salary stated here might not be true. Some people just like to bombard and make themselves look good. Of course, I don't know who they are, no idea if they are telling the truth of their salary. So just take it as a pinch of salt.

As for you, 3k for fresh grad, good enough. Work hard and you definitely can hit 5k before even 30 YO.

Years spent in company : Nearly 3 years.
Industry : Retail
Tenure : Permanent
Employment Level : Senior

I know before I've post this before, and so after that my boss just raised my salary and add in the fixed allowance after that. But I have to do overtime frequently without money because of the workload has been built up given by Managers.

I think I'm quite underpay for my job, but somehow I have no idea what I can do if I want to change job.
*
Something bigger. Since you sell stuff, I believe you should heard of Ingram, Brightstar, ECS.. I've seen them have openings. Can try your luck there. wink.gif

Side Job (Every weekend)
Salary: Average for last 12 months around 2k per month

^ Started during my final year at uni. Pay almost nothing in the beginning, but now abit more established getting better. This salary (2k) is combined for both my girlfriend and I, so you divide out its 1k per person.
*
Can share what your side job is? I am looking for side income as well. Appreciate if you could let us know or PM me the side job.

Thank you. wink.gif

look at his original post. it's acc & finance.

analysts can come from various education background - engineering, maths, accounting, finance, law, actuarial science, journalism etc...you need to be good in numbers, writing n communicating

the biggest hurdle is actually securing an interview for that role, and recommendations n connections within plays a role, although i've seen from time to time the post is advertised in JS/LinkedIn, tho quite rare

Once in, self-initiative and drive can bring you a long way.
*
I am in dilemma now. I am a Psychology & Communication graduate, but I am currently working on event & marketing post. Wondering how should I be doing in terms of certifications or trainings to attend to maximize the salary that is available to me. hmm.gif

Comms background, then try venture into relationship management in the corporate banking side. Very sales driven, need to suck it up the first few years as your superiors will get more acknowledgement that you do.

Meanwhile you can pursue CFA at the same time and try your luck joining the investment industry, if that's what you want.
*
My comments background is more on writing. But my working experience is more on event side. That's why I'm in dilemma. And I didn't want my psychology major goes to waste as well.
