as developer, why they keep changing the design and layout?

Times are slow, they have so much time to design a new model (hahahaha). Think they just want to create some differentiation and excitement in the market and make SA standout from the rest of the developers...maybe....

As a buyer, would u like to see all houses in a township having same design?

my view is they are trying to "justify" the increase price by saying better layout lar, bigger buildup lar, better quality lar and etc.

by engaging QS, Architect and ........ to launch new model, dun think this is waste resources? hahaha

but they are change too frequently and too fast. if we look at the car model, will take some time to launch new model, sometimes with facelift first. ahhahahaha

Cant compare to automobile industry.

New car model out usually mean older model will depreciate further in value.

This doesnt imply on property.

At least setia takes the initiative not to create a boring row and row of same facaded houses....dont u think its a bit boring and monotonous?

Imagine like EG....1000units of same same facade....worse than condos and apartments.

IMO, later phase with better layout/design isn't a good excuse for increasing price. Why can't they do it right in the first place anyway? Having said that, sometimes developer does experiment with new layout/design in order to cater for the various individual preferences in the market.

But agree that it is part of developer's strategy to increase BU or provide better spec in order to push the price higher in later phases. Despite that, developer might do the opposite during market downturn, which we r seeing in some of the recent launches by various developers.

lel reminds me of back then in 1 row, diff people do diff style of chinaman reno where the 2nd floor 'balcony' reno was the most popular. 1 row could have tom dick harry jane design. Now i moved to a same facaded row, initially find it clean and orderly but later also sien. Unless i can make it to get like a Eco park Semi D then it'll be different

Spending so much time to design crappy layout for Edulis.. Perhaps they use fresh graduate to design so take so much time with lousy design.

if you don't want rainbow village....then GnG estate is your best bet.

Individual titles...most owners will want to stamp their best mark on the property de.....unfortunately this is the mentality....
