Out of curiosity, why would you ever prefer to go in?

I haven't tried myself, and don't foresee any reason to try.

It's for my dad. His petrol usage is more than RM1000 every month. He hate using credit card at the card slot machine in petrol station...he prefer giving it to the cashier and signing it...duh.

Lol, ok. My plan is this card to be backup as well. As for hlb wise, I will cancel once af kicks in. Actually, I want to reduce my spending; can't resist maxing out the cb for hlb.

If I'm not mistaken, Maybank Ikhwan is not so particular with this.

I tried before with UOB One, and it's counted as petrol and entitle cash back, never try ikhwan in that way yet. hmm.gif

If the card can be used to pay for petrol (BHP) inside the counter, then I will cancel my Hong Leong wise and opt for this instead biggrin.gif

We are on the same boat, due to AF have to force myself to spend more. sweat.gif
I think I will just spend like normal for my Wise because I know I will terminate it next year since I have Ikhwan.
But but the 10% is difficult to resist. laugh.gif

from what i read supplementary is eligible for rebate, but it gets credited to the principal account and subject to that single limit.

on first page
"1. Supplementary Cards ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for the 5% cash back!!!"

on maybank
"5% rebate on petrol and groceries on Friday and Saturday, capped at maximum of RM50.00 per customer per month (Principal and Supplementary Cardmember)"

so... yeah. should be ok for supplementary.
