QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Feb 16 2016, 01:01 PM) If you meant to get cash back via groceries, yes only over counter at Sam's Groceria. If you meant just to make payment sake, you can pay via M2U and choose to make payment from CC. This post has been edited by fruitie: Feb 16 2016, 01:50 PM |

Applied for this card through a Maybank branch and got rejected. When called in, the CS says that they can't give me credit limit anymore. =( How should I appeal? Through the CS again?

No worries, it's very normal to be rejected by Maybank. I got rejected too and got it after splitting my credit limit from M2Cards. QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 1 2015, 02:34 PM) Ways to get Ikhwan MasterCard: Gen-X, considering to update this on the front page? I) Apply like normal applications II) If method I fails, then ask to split limit from your existing conventional credit limit to Islamic credit limit. III) If method II still fails, convert your existing Maybank card to Ikhwan. Yes, email is acceptable for CL split request. I got mine via email too. This is the email address: mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my |

So not too sure if they will still allow the split for ikhwan. On another note, I am quite surprise that the CS actually told me the reason they rejected my Ikhwan cc application. Will do so soon. Well, if worst comes to worst, then is it possible to convert the Maybank Visa Card (the one that comes together with Amex) to an Ikhwan cc? Any ideas?Yeah, my rejection reason was shared too. High exposure. |

Can split la, many of us have done that before, split from M2Cards. You can search this and previous thread. Unless you are super unlucky. You can convert but it's the whole combo, that means your AmEx will be gone as well. This post has been edited by fruitie: Feb 20 2016, 12:51 AM |
