Anyone tried reloading via the Touch n Go app? the latest update allow direct reload into card instead of through e-wallet, then to kiosk.

Before this, I can see the option to add AMEX card, but now only Visa & Master.

Reloading to physical TnG card is not possible at the mean time.
The Reload button only allows you to reload the e-wallet of the TnG App.
It clearly stated "Reload eWallet".

Not possible as the card needs to be physically in contact with a reloading device.

Now pilot test only, think how long until cannot use TnG anymore? Also no news on changing of system for parking etc. As of now I'm easily using RM100 every 2-3 weeks, so top up RM500 also no fear, no way it will expire.

Even if RFID comes into play, don’t think they will void existing tng users? They will find a way to migrate those existing tng users to the new platform.

Dont think AMEX is supported, last time when the reload to tng via the PUD device thing i tried using AMEX cannot.
I think is the settings with their current payment gateway provider. Depends on TnG wanna support AMEX or not

existing physical tng card may survive for next few years. Even if they decided to stop it, they will give 1 year advance notice
TnG card is too big to stop it / migrate to new platform
they need time.

like MBB new M2U platform... not sure when they going to dis-continue the old layout...

i definitely remember seeing able to add AMEX card as favourite card in the TnG e-wallet app. but bcoz i don't have any PUD device thing near me, so I don't bother reloading into the e-wallet. But nonetheless, that is already in the past XD

so in preparation for the "near future" able to direct reload to TnG card from the app - I'm considering the Public Bank Quantum Master card. 5% online shopping with RM30 cap. Not sure if reloading to the app is considered online shopping though...need to test

Or to those living near those PUD device, can try now and let us know. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

tried recently...no amex card as choice
