Next generation Inspiron 15-7577 replace 15-7567 with
- New design and layout.
- Spec with GTX1050/GTX1050Ti/GTX1060 Max-Q
- 15.6 IPS FHD screen
- lower battery capacity 4 cells 56Whr
- thunderbolt 3/usb3.1-C port.

Unfortunately, they remove the budget i5/GTX1050Ti variant.  shakehead.gif

Unfortunately, i5/GTX1060MQ & i5/GTX1050Ti are not available in retail.
Wish they can offer it online. biggrin.gif

What's wrong with Dell for not offering more customization. That price gap between 1050 and 1050 Ti is too big! Seems like they are also forcing the 2 years warranty down the throat.
Anyway still way above my RM5k hope, haha!

Heck the Alienware 13 with cashback, smaller screen and without the HDD is RM300 cheaper than Inspiron.

Not surprising. Malaysia configs for most laptops seem quite bad this year. One of the things that always get me is how they're offering 4gb ram in 2017. Dell's options in US far superior to the ones we get here and at a way more reasonable price too. Probably the 7567 with 1050ti still a better buy than this 7577. Swap out the screen yourself and you'd be good.

Maybe this is just the initial offering, and they will allow customization in the future?

PUBG isn't well optimised, I guess it'll run fine on 1050 Ti once fully optimised.

Just bought myself a HP Pavilion Power 15 , wonderful ..like the casing , ips screen, the built . anyhow

is it necessary to take out the battery before installing ram ? bcause in the manual it;s says to remove the battery then takeout the ram , the battery is internal. anyone has any experience in this ? ( sorry folks this is my first WINDOWS laptop , last laptop is a macbook )

i know that my ram is 4gb DDR4 2400 Mhz , planning to upgrade to 16gb ( because i run vmware quite often & other multitasking) so what;s the no. that follows after the ram it runs on this format 15-15-15-XX <-- i have no idea what this is referring to ? can anyone recommend a ram suitable for this laptop ? gskill/hyperx/adata etc . this is too alien for me .

Should be fine as long as your laptop is powered off completely. For ram have to make sure that the one you adding is the same speed. Since you planning to go for 16gb I assume you'll be removing the 4gb stick. Just get 2 8gb ddr4 stick that is the same speed + model. Or can get single stick also biggrin.gif

PUBG map too big, very hard to be smooth when you set to high graphic.

I'm currently thinking to change my laptop and there's two Lenovo within my budget;

LENOVO LEGION Y520 I7-7700
LENOVO IdeaPad 320 I5-8250

Which one is better? for Working purposes, not gaming. Many Thanks
