I take a low grade IPS over that 7567 TN panel anyday.
7577 - 68% sRGB
7567 - 49% sRGB
At that price, don't expect XPS laptop level display panel.

Agree.. tn gsync 144hz enuf de... ips display good for work.. bad for gaming..

Having IPS is a merit tho, but not really necessary if you wish to only use to yourself instead bring to work and do presentation.

Just a question tho, 120hz must came in IPS or with TN screen?

tbh I wouldn't bet on 120hz ips laptop display.. bleed kao kao after 6 months.. even predator x34 bleed at the button corner after 6 months for those user who love to press the buttons...

https://youtu.be/79r5rxS276Y

This YouTube compare 2 similar spec ips n tn monitor.. I using alienware tn free sync 240hz.. so much better than the u2713hm but tat is unfair comparison. 75hz vs 240hz..

that video only show the only weakness on IPS glow in dark scenes or night time, but hye, in what situation are you gonna dim your panel at that level in full dark room ? biggrin.gif

So we can say there is no perfect display, but depends on what's the trade off that an individual can accept.
I've used the X34A for more than 6 months and I'm not aware of any bleed at all during normal usage and gaming.

Yeah I do adjust the brightness quite a lot, increasing them while gaming and reducing them at night if I'm not gaming. Not lah every day, but at least once or twice a week. After your story, I will try to adjust them less from now on. Thanks!

Aaaaand, the wait for Dell MY continues. Pre order available from seller in Notebook Garage section. Nothing's perpetually set in stone so fingers crossed if Dell decides i5-1060 to make its way here.
