For gaming, I think the 1050Ti is more important than the i7. The Dell also comes with a genuine Win10 for those who might need the laptop to do any legal stuff...

Bang for buck probably no. You can add extra maybe get lenovo with i7 and 1050ti. But if you don't need the i7 then this is best d.

Will seriously consider this model if this equipped with nvme ssd + good screen.

Wait for review first.

Beautiful laptop. If it's price RM1k cheaper than Alienware 13 R3, I think it will sell well.

15" is just nice for 1080p. GTX1060 is really good balance for 1080p/60 gaming. It seem to be more compact than the Alienware 15.

Now Dell please make a XPS15 with GTX1060.

I was really hoping for nvme ssd. I know 4k models in USA got nvme instead of sata for its m2 slot.

Not sure for Malaysian one.

Hdd and normal ssd already huge diff in terms of speed.

Now ssd and nvme also have huge diff.

Price between sata and nvme m2, not so much diff.

i7 + 1060 (not matter much if downclocked, i need cuda cores) + nvme + good amount of ram

Thats one heck of good mobile rendering machine.

Rendering videos are not as heavy as 3d models like CADs based, 3Dsmax, etc.

This model is sufficient enough IMO considering if it is equipped with things that I mentioned. If not, sata ssd also still can get the job done.

Plus, 'workstation' badged-laptops usually overpriced, with little to no different in terms of performance. Most of diff on screen quality and color correction. Nothing else.

If that dell 7577 is priced at RM4499-4799 here,it will be ONLY laptop anyone will recommend below RM5000

To think that performance cost RM7000+ just a couple of years ago....... Damn

Too bad we also got gst to contend with 😡

I hope PRU comes soon so I can vote the he-who-shall-not-be-named out of his seat
*
Not likely to be in that price range though. Probably base model at 4499 which is an i5 + 1050ti? Then go up to 6k for 4k display and 1060. 999usd is the base model.
