Too many units per floor, not enough lifts and slow (definitely not a high speed lift). The lobby has toilets that are so smelly that make you swear why the lift is still not here. During peak time, you need to wait for up to 10 minutes to squeeze in the lift. Minimum facility, but the pool is great. Too many airbnb units, full of strangers, absolutely not recommended for own stay. I don't expect the psf price to hold above RM1000 for long.

Such issues Similar to those vortex, vipod, skysuite condo mainly for airbnb/hotel style. And the waiting times for lifts always very long. Are you sure Minimum facilities? 😆

This robertson yet to reach its mature period. Even all the lifts break down the value will still there. 😆

The standardisation of several issues involving the hotel sector and Airbnb, such as regulations, taxes, will be finalised soon, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.

He said the move was to give a new lease of life to the tourism industry, especially hotel operators, who are more affected by the COVID-19 pandemic as they are bound by regulations compared with Airbnb operators.

It is also part of the government's efforts to help revive the tourism sector towards restoring the country’s economy, he added.

"In business, we have the concept of 'level playing field' meaning we have to be fair to all. So if one component is subject to various rules, while another sector is not, of course this is not fair," he told a media conference after a dinner and discussion with stake holders of the tourism industry in Bandar Hilir here.

City centre

If there are developments in the City centre of the cities you listed, they generally have to demolish an older building first

Exception is Singapore I guess since they reserved a lot of empty plots around mbs

Redevelopment is common e.g klcc, kl sentral, bbcc, trx, pnb 118, b.m, equatorial plaza, pavilion bb, pavilion damansara, etc. that's why metropolitan cities almost never run of development or redevelopment.

It is matter of supply and demand. when need arise, more redevelopment will occur. essentially, city never run out of land for new high rise.
