No, not this. Yes. I sent my watch back to authorised reseller. They say almost a month since got queue fixing watch. Need to send back to manufacturer. Told me to check back end of May..
Oh.. AD... If send back to thongsia yeah minimum is 1 month. The watch will sit at the store for some time while the store waits and collects a few watches to be sent together one shot.

[Watch Dial Modding Service, is there such service available in kl?]
so I got inspired from this a thread seller from carousell SG to modify a vintage king Seiko hi beat and was thinking if I can get a custom sticker / vinyl printing and stick it over the original watch dial and reapply the watch indices and logos back onto the sticker film?
I'm planning to buy a vintage king Seiko with / without date function and get a similar Japanese print design to cover the original watch face dial. would highly appreciate if someone from forum here could give me some leads on any reputable watch maker that could help me with this request.

I've been eyeing on this Seiko "Datejust" for a while, but put off by the 21mm odd lug width. This is by far one of the most handsome Seiko 5 out there. Pls share link for us to watch together
Here. He talked about replacing the bracelet as well

It's not even fair la to compare the mm200 to skx007.
People just like the skx because it was such a cheap and solid entry piece, before it got that Hodinkee tax plus the never ending "discontinued" tax on it today.
this is exactly my dilemma.
whether to buy a ready made MM200 (or equivalent piece) or go adventurous and custom make one from SKX base

personal preference but i would go for the MM200 instead. not really a fan of modding besides changing bracelet
the case of the MM200 is also better finished and unless you're good in grinding and polishing, you can't mod that on an 007
but having a custom piece made to your liking presents a different kind of joy too... anyway, i am still on the cross road, not deciding yet although i lean more to customising.

Cheap? No.
But you said, its JDM. You either straight can't find it here, or you get charge a premium here.
So if your friend is there and can find JDM's, it will be cheaper.
Friend punya brother wented jepang. shot some pic and sent back. sbdx017 retail less than rm8k after convert. if dapat discount can get slightly below rm7k. 1st gen sumo BNIB offered rm1.5k after convert. still cheaper than local price. but i think if u factor in your transport and accommodation to purposely go that outlet away from your original travel itinerary, LPPL lah.

Bought this from GTC in Kuantan this morning. Mini turtle PADI edition. I quickly brought it to the beach to christen it in seawater. It's like with babies and the christening ceremony. A diver, once made, wants to be in the element it was intended for, 200m in the ocean. Even says so on the dial. There is a longing for the ocean. This longing is quenched by christening it in the sea. If you don't, you will find that you might drown because the watch you are wearing wants to be in its element. That's why even ferries can sink: because too many people on board are wearing divers which have not been christened. Even planes would fall into the ocean due to the collective pull of all the unchristened dive watches on board.
I would've bought this, my only gripe is the cyclops.
