last month I bought a modded seiko watch and was fitted with the same issue you are facing now.. ended used a plier to twist it and came out but the tubes were scratched a little bit as I didn't put clothe over while twisting it

after searching online found a thread on watchuseek

title: "Installed strap with tubes and springs bars and now can't remove the strap!"

apparently can > cutting is not necessary: just wrap a bit of towel onto the end of the strap, then grasp the end with a normal pair of pliers, and give the tube a good, sharp quick twist. The tube and spring bar will pop out.

I did not check when I receive the strap. Straight away put on the watch. Haha.

Cool watch. But looks huge on your wrist.
Have you repaired your previous watch? The padi turtle.

No, I haven't had the time or attention to deal with the padi mini turtle. I mean to fix it myself, but I can't justify the opportunity cost. I'm not in the mood to deal with watch repair people either.
