ya im not a big fan of the alpinist rotating bezel either.
tho this one at 42mm is probably gonna feel big...plus ppl probaby gonna confuse it with a B&R  doh.gif
*
Wont lah... I dont see pizza box.

42mm is pretty much general size, not too big not too small, although if we look at the dressy category it is on the large side lah.

I'm a Seiko newbie and this is my first automatic watch.

[attachmentid=8477937]

I think the size fits just right (what do you guys think?). I have a 6.8"-ish wrist.
I'm glad I didn't buy the SNK803 because it would probably not look as nice because of the much smaller size.
The only thing I'm not feeling about this watch is the nylon strap. It's a bit thin for my liking although it is 22mm.

Now looking for straps  flex.gif

No problem with both size

QUOTE(BacktoBasics @ Feb 13 2017, 12:13 AM)
yeah bro. I did some research and I am not sure why getting it locally here is cheaper compared to getting a J version which is made in Japan.

hmm.
*
This has been repeated to death, both in here and in many other watch forums worldwide.

SKX007/009 are machine assembled here in JB factory (and some say in china factory too). Some batches are taken out for final inspection by japanese technicians and given "made in japan" tag and named J model, but otherwise, they remained essentially the same.

If you have done your research you should've come across this fact already.

As yvliew mentioned, you wanted to buy authentic made in japan seiko, you either buy JDM, or if you're feeling the splurge, a GS.

Suggestion? My wrist is not too big and I don't really like big watches. I'm looking for a diver.
*
Oh come on. Your money just buy what you liked.
I have an skx013 and bought it via ebay. So far so good, the size is very "see mun" and i wear it on a faux leather. although the hands are abit short, it had to be in order to fit in the small dial, but maybe one day i would slap in a different hands. Thats the nice thing about seiko autos, the ability to customise the looks.Attached Image

i was just in KL yesterday, 30% can get the blue samurai...ie. rm1699.

I bought my SNZG from them through Lazada

My concern was that they didn't give any tracking number.
They updated order status as 'Shipped' but no tracking number was given. My order did arrived within the estimated time frame though.

bloody expensive Lazada price.

Hi guys, any trustable online shops offering good deals for seiko watches in malaysia? I remember seeing 1 or 2 in this thread before but forgot to save it. One of them is based in sg if im not mistaken and its not watcheszonasia.
*
Bought once from skywatches. SNK809
but since i am paying slightly cheaper, i dont get box and warranty card lah - just the watch alone wrapped in bubble wrap in an envelope lol.

When did you made your purchase? If recently, did you have to pay any GST or admin charges to the courier?
*
It was sometime late last year, nope no extra charges. The shipping fee has included door to door delivery

managed to poison kaw my fren to get this blue samurai, since he was looking for a diver anyway. but at first he was loking at swiss, but after he sees this jap, he fell for it.

but instead of buying in sg wang as Everdying suggested, he went and bought from a dealer that he is an acquaintance of.

Would be nice if they fitted with 6R15 movement instead for the price.
*
yup.

i did told him that i could get a mini monster that runs the same 4r engine for 1/3 of his samurai lol.
but then again, he likes the shape of the case which is a different kinda breed from the monster/mini monster
